@DEVILISHANGEL yep.... also i feel that HRM needs some major overhauling specially with IT companies. Specifically to reduce their bench strength, improve utilization & better their bottomlines!
hmmm.... so not a bad idea to hav HR/IT/Ops under FT..

I will give an example - In my year I had 2 offers on campus- One of the companies that ofered me was an IT major offering me a Senior Management Trainee role - AFTER I TOLD THEM I HAVE NO IT BACKGROUND - AFTER I ALMOST AGREED I WILL SWITCH AT THE EARLIEST IF YOU TAKE ME IN - AND AFTER I SAID I HAVE A PARALLEL INTERVIEW IN A Marketing firm GOING ON RIGHT NOW - IT PAID ME ITS OWN SALARY + 3 LAKHS EXTRA (AMOUNTING TO TOTAL OF 14 LAKHS) - i declined the offer in favour of a Sales and Marketing roles for a core marketing company.

IT ko kissi cheez se matlab nahi hai - usko sirf matlab hai Aptitude and Attitude se :)

It happens for IT - Basically Fresher Salary + paid bonuses for each year of work-ex.

Laterals = People with Relevant Work-ex.

Puri India mein sirf IT ka hi hota hai across the top b-schools :)

Thats happens mostly for IT exp (relevant is the key word here) kids in all b-schools.

Which is great but IT is mostly the last gambit, it is not an initial choice which is why IMT does it late and IMT has seen this doesn't effect the placements for people interested in IT because IT recruiters are not particularly picky if you have the right experience.

I didn't wait for anything other thane IMTG yet got mail for Nagpur. Not interested in nagpur. is there any chance that i get call from IMT G if few ppl dont join, even if dont join Nagpur.

Had decent GD and excellent PI
Have been waiting for the mail since the last 3 days
till yesterday morning many told that calls will be rolled out till 25/26
some of the seniors told that they would be uploading a list along with waitlist by yesterday 7 P.M
Neither mails were sent to anyone yesterday nor the list was put up
After all yesterday one of the seniors posted that all the mails have been sent to ghaziabad and nagpur campuses
can seniors or the people from admission section clear the confusion and let us know what exactly is happening

@chal ..bhai this is rt..I called to adm office n they said all mails hv been sent...even I did not get at 99.38 even for N/H/D..bahut hi fake process hai unka...whn I called they said, we see job exp, acads, and also other things, than percentile n GD/PI...I told I hv everything, then they said, u might not be fit for IMT hence not selected..NOT-FIT...samajh nahi aata jo bhi interview mai poocha poora jabab diya...sala pata nahi chahte kya hai ye..abi interview ka jabab muh sai nahi to kya g@@@ sao chahiye inko:(..day-by-day IMT is killing its reputation..process is very vague..thoda transparency lani chahiye..
