This simply means that the PGDM you will get from GIM will not qualify for all those posts, especially PSU's where MBA is requirement.
What heck? Who needs PSU's.

I had my GD PI at GIM hence had the opportunity to have a query answering session with Fr.Romauld who started GIM. He mentioned in his talk that GIM is intending to seek this recognition soon, so dont worry GIM is anyway a premier institute

Yes I think that is the only difference.Anyway even wel reputed institutes like IIM's ,XLRI and XIMB ont offer an MBA.So Chill.
Waise I just wanted to raise one point on this forum .Those guys who have already paid in their fees should inquire immeadiately about the configuration of the laptop from the Admission office.Prefrably its better to get the configuration now.One thing is try and get a HDD of 80 Gb instead of 40 Gb that we have .Cos its difficult to upgrade a Laptop once purchased so better get as advanced features as possible.
Those getting it from collge plz mail Admission office and pursuade them to give them a good deal, Larger HDD etc.

Having work ex of 33 months in mechanical company..joining the GIM.
Fond of cooking...have managed the mess in college and at hostel during the work ex.
Also worked as a placement co ordinator during my college days.

lets have this enthu going on and make GIM a place where no when can think for a moment to give away a call from GIM.What difference is there between GIM and IIIMS and other B schools and can it be implemented in GIM...let we all work out for this.

as far as i know,the PGPM frm IIMA is not recognised by even AICTE.Has it ever been a problem?I dont think the degree by ISB is also recognised.Is it a prob?u can make ur own inferences.
