kinda of feel good whenever i log in2 PG these days...now lets dscss few thgs in brief
1. for ANIL ,man come may watever dunnot leave GIM just coz of laons//tried SBI?..U must have gt the letter 2day..take that letter along n i m sure it will b considered.Mine my dad IS HNDLING...give 30k now smehow n look for loans.u ll easily get 1
2. Mrinalini gud u will b ard..coz it will really b sad 2 see any defaulters in the list i made 4..(*kiddin)will b fun 2 b 2gether 4 2 yrs/
3.Gary must b busy wth LINTAS..talked 2 ur mom n my bro talked 2 urs..seems u elusive..ll gve a call at ur cell (temp1)...must say that u guys shud arrange for a meeting amng ur batchmates n ours ..so that they will hve a clear picture.My bro is willin2 attend but pssble try n make it on thrsday or friday morning as outstation candidates like me have 2 send draft by this weeknd or nxt monday 2 b on the safer side.
4.Was talkin 2 1 of the PGites , a 1st YR student of Kjs n he even in a way hinted for GIM .
He said that KJS somaiya trst does nt spend a single penny during placement week..no mrkting or promotion of the college..still have a laid back attitude n 1st yr faculty is just ok..n advantage of being mumbai is nt very substantial nt for kjs atleast.
5.Talked 2 MAM SARITA D'SOUZA,Admission Co-ordinator..she was very rationale n said its better than kjs per se..be it campus..rigour or faculty n even placement.Location is nt such a big problem ,, n placement depends on us all if we can convince big fish 2 come here...avg she said 2 b specific was 3.87L
???wat abt lap top? r U GUYS taking it thru college or ARRANGING BY urself? which will b economical guys

Absolutely second that! Infact fabricated data aside (placement figures etc) Id probably say that GIM programme is perhaps as good if not better than the pgdbm course at SIBM! that ofcourse is if your not that keen on HR.

i m trying fr loans, in the mean time its a great pleasure to see the enthu of my batchmates at GIM. hey guys keep the sprits high. we r definitely going to rock GIM :grab: and when we leave GIM in 2007, GIM should be placed at a reasonably higher place than the likes of KJ SOM, IMI, TAPMI, XIMB and FORE sothat none of our junior face a problem in deciding fr GIM.

even after assuming that u are keen on a carrer in mktg-comms, SIBM-CM is still inferioir to GIM in this regard!! firstly companies like AC-nielson, ORGMARG, TNS mode, zee, etc come to GIM with better sals! and trust me there wont be better companies comin 2 SIBM-CM! its not their flagship programme u see! even if they do then they would prefer ppl from MBA-dual and not from CM! and im sayin this with some some knowledge abt the way things are, so u can be sure that im NOT misguiding u! but i suggest u still talk 2 someone from CM in SIBM!

They do no t even have an entrance test... are the classes held along with the full time students..
Any info on the part time PGDBM would be insighful..

GIM is better than both of these!! ask any1 from IMS/CL... they'll be able 2 give u an unbiased opinion!

hi,
no clues abt the rating of the course(its no great shakes,thats for sure) however its quite rigorous. Classes are held separately and only on weekends. It is a 3 yr course and costs 30000(i am not very sure abt this) for 3 yrs. The course content is similar to full time course although it cannot match with us in terms of rigour and grooming.
