I have been wanting to get some idea on how valuable it is to do an Exec MBA from abroad. The main parameter that i am evaluating is what are the chances of doing a career shift with an exec MBA. For example someone from the IT field, after doing part time MBA, can he/she look for a marketing career??

In particular i am looking at the E-MBA courses offered in singapore by NUS, SMU,SPJAIN , XLRI.
If anyone has any thoughts please do share.

hey you can check Educatis University, Switzerland. They have started Swiss MBA in India MBA Fernstudium und BWL Weiterbildung in Management, Marketing,... ......... its good, one of best in EU. One of my friend has joined here and he says it is better then doing it from any other Indian Institute. They have Students from Airbus, BMW ...... you can go and study in Switzerland for 10 days in every six months and create a global network of friends.

I am interested in exec MBA courses only in singapore as i am working here.
Just wanted some ideas from people if career shift is a possibility after exec MBA.
