Ab anti reservation trend chala hai to main bhi ye kehna chahta hun ki hum general sc/st/obc ke khilaf nahi hai , hum bas ye chahte hain ki home income ke hisab se reservation milna chahiye jis insan ke ghar ki income kam hai usko reservation milna chahiye bhale hi wo brahmin/dalit/muslim/sikh/jain/christian kuch bhi ho , caste ke hisab se aur religion ke hisab se reservation khatam hona chahiye , to ya to income ke hisab se reservation ho ya to reservation altogether khatam ho jaye , sirf poor people ko reservation milna chahiye !

Ā I believe that any organization expects Ā broadly 2 things from its officers : IQ ( Intelligence quotient) and EQ ( emotional Quotient/ Intelligence) . The exam and the attendant components of this process test both IQ and EQ of the candidate.
EQ is not just needed during an exam to calm our nerves and in that tense situation take fast and accurate decisions but also during the period between the exam and the result and also after the results. Donāt you guys think we all are emotionally weak and vulnerable. We believe in each and every news posted by any Tom, dick and harry. Any idiot can post any news by self certifying it as authentic and we believe in it. There are some people like @Apni_Baat who come up with some figures by analyzing past trends and by making some fundamental assumptions. They might go wrong but atleast they come to a conclusion after an analysis. when they post their analysis all of us seem to agree with it bcz its based on some fundamentals but as soon as some spammer posts an imaginary figure as cutoff sans any analysis we start believing in him tooā¦I do not understand how can one become equally convinced about 2 exactly opposite conclusions at the same timeā¦isnāt this our vulnerability which is being exploited by some miscreant for his entertainment? I do not understand how one can start feeling hopeless, suicidal after listening to news posted by any random person under garb of anonymity? Guys remember we have all reached interview after trampling lakhs of serious aspirants. Remember we all have a brain. Plz start using it. Read some good analysis posted by people who use some logic to come up with a conclusionā¦observe previous year trends ,use your analytical mind and fix a number as cutoff. Stick to this number and don āt allow yourself to be swayed by opinion of any1 else. Donāt go around asking your chance and while doing the same exposing your weakness because people here are as , if not more, clueless as you are.

Add average interview marks(10-12) to your mains score and see for yourself if it reaches the number you have come up with in your mind. If yes then patiently wait for results. If not , then just get rid of your account on this forum and start preparing afresh from tomorrow for any other exam. Plz donāt waste your timeā¦those who are confident of selection or think they are on border can develop some skill like communication skill Ā or learn MS word/ excel and try to master it( believe me its not easy as it seems).

EQ includes patience, your ability to insulate yourself from negativity , Your ability to get up after failures and starting all over again with renewed vigour. Rather than grumbling as to why IBPS takes soo much time to declare result, utilize this time to develop your EQ. Ā This is the best time to test how strong/vulnerable you mentally are. Utilize this preparation phase to not only develop your knowledge and skills but also develop your EQ as our country and organizations require mentally strong and level headed officers !

Hello people, been a silent observer of the group. I wanted to share a basic info about the cutoff for PO6. In PO 5 mains cutoff was 76 that translates to 30.4 (mains weightage in final merit) So a person scoring 76 had a theoretical chance in making into the final list if they could score 97.5 marks in interview(19.5 marks weightage in final result) Total translating to 49.9. Going by this rule (if at all holds true), to give person scoring 52.5 in mains (21 weightage in result) a theoretical chance of qualifying cutoff should not exceed 41( even if he scores 100 in interview ,i.e 20 weightage in final score). And to be precise it should be 40.5. Hope this helps in resting some of the anxieties around.

Mere interview me ek ajeeb baat hui. Main panelist ne ek ajeeb question pucha. mai dusri panelist ka jawab de diya tha. Tbhi achanak puchta h, you are right hander ya left hander? maine bola right hander.. fir sab normally continue hi gya. Dusre panelist puchne lge. Ye sawal kyu kiya samjh nhi aya mujhe?
Ā Most important thing is reserved candidate is preferred for getting allotment of his choice...that is the reason that reserved categories take very little seats of UR category but still UR category ppl do hue and cry. This is done intentionally to demoralize UR candidates who get doomed in the thinking of reservation and all. They lose their study and hard work and start focusing on 'Reservation' discussion. Be aware puys..specially UR ones. This is the TRUTH..believe it or not. (For every exam...focus on study thinking that all the seats of UR category are available to you..bcz No one..I repeat, No ONE give a damm to anything after they get selected for the job.)
