since it shows 1250 for 1000 gm he incurs loss= (250/1000)*100=25%
now total profit/loss= 10-25 - (25*10/100)=-15-2.5=17.5 % loss

options are
23 32 31.75 23.5
and its not 1250 its 1200.....

Let CP/kg =100
MP=110/kg
MP for 1250 gm= 110/1000 *1250=137.50
Now he sells 1000g and charge for 1250 gm
there SP = 137.50
and
CP=100
Profit: 37.5%

method is correct by mistake i wrote 1250 instead of 1200.this deviation is because of this only..
