@pathakrahul said: cost of diamond is directly proportional to square its weight a diamond breaks into 4 pieces and the ratio of there weight is 1 : 2 : 3 : 4. after splitting cost of diamond becomes 1,40,000what was the initial cost of diamond ? 1-----2 lakh2---2.5 lakh3----3 lakh4-----4 lakh......explanation plz
bhai, I m getting answer as 4.66 lakhs.. u sure bout the data given?
bhai in my opinion this will happened only when value of both i.e sin cos should remain positive bcoz value of square is always a +ve no .......this will remain true only if both the angle will be in 1st coordinate ie 0
If C is the original cost, then it varies as the square of the weight. Initial weight is 1 + 2+ 3+4 = 10.. so 100w^2 = C Now, after splitting, 1^2+2^2+3^2+4^2= 30..so 30w^2=140000 so 4.66 lakhs.. this is how I did.. Pls post the answer and the method sirji
