@dhwanibhatt6 said: p^2=qy+rz , q^2=rz+px , r^2=px+qy then (x/p+x) + (y/q+y) + (z/r+z) is ?? Answer is 1 .Help me out as how to approach such problems ?
yar simple method i used:

let p=q=r=1

solve u get x=y=z=1/2

put values in eqn u get 1

25^25/26 = (-1)^25/26=-1 or 25
A and B are centres of the two circles whose radius are 5 cm and 2 cm respectively. The
direct common tangents to the circles meet AB extended at P. The P divides AB in the ratio?
a. externally in the ratio 5:2
b. internally in the ratio 2:5
c. internally in the ratio 5:2
d. externally in the ratio 7:2

Plz some one temme how d figure would be, if u can upload wld help !!

sahi hai temme the method
1 radian = 180/pi therefore 55 radian =(55*180)/pi
1 rotation means 180*2 = 360 degrees covered
3.5*2*180 covered in 1 sec then calculate (55*180)/pi covered in how many second(take pi as 22/7)
@Brooklyn
Answer is 25 only.
@sandy73 yea i knw i said it comes out to be -1
which means 25 in +ve remainder terms so ans=25 :)
@mickym : yar ye walla funda nhi smjh aaya can u elaborate?

A circular wire of radius 15 cm is cut and bent so as to lie along the circumference of a
loop of radius 120 cm. what is the measure of the angle subtended by it at the centre of the
loop?

In a test consisting of 15 questions, 3 marks are awarded for a correct answer, 1 mark is deducted for an incorrect answer and no mark is awarded for an unattempted question. If a student attempts at least one question in the paper, what is the number of distinct scores that he can get?
(a) 57 (b) 58 (c) 59 (d) None of these
soln:

15*3 + 15*1 +1 -3c2

45+15 +1 -3 =58

T*n + T*m +1 -nc2, where T = Total number of questions, n= marks for correct question, m = marks for incorrect question.

If, the incorrect question marks is 1/3, or, 1/2, then we can say, that the marks for correc question is 3 or 2 and for the incorrect its -1

How to do???

ABC is a triangle. The internal bisector of the angles angle A, angle B and angle C
intersect the circumcirlce at X,Y and Z respectively. If angle A=50 degree, angle CZY=30
degree then angle BYZ will be

ans is 35

circular wire 15 cm radius: total length = 2*pi*15
length of arc formed in bigger circle when smaller cir wire kept along circumference=2*pi*15
let angle subtended by this be #
(#/360)*2*pi*120 = 2*pi*15 now solve for angle #
