Hi

There is a thread on PG on how Puys can ace Sec II of the CAT.

Would request LR experts to visit and provide valuable tips/tricks/advice/ book suggestions and also if they took CAT 11, their experience of the LR questions.

Gave AIMCAT 1320

QA/DI 23 Attempted 21 Correct - 61
VA/LR 25 Attempted 17 Correct - 43
OA 48 Attempted 38 Correct - 104 :grin:

It was a good mock.QA was easy while Section 2 was moderate.Really need to improve my accuracy in section 2.Feel I could have done much better.

gave CL PROC MOCK 1 ..

QADI - 12 ( only 8 attempts , 5C & 3W)
VALR - 32:sneaky: ( 20 attempts 13C , 7w)

OA - 44 ( 18C , 10W):splat:

Was kind of expected , have to hit back in the next proc ... starting preps.

@joe : I didnt do well in cl proc 1 either.Took the test on 22nd
Section 1: 11 attempted 7 correct - 17
Section 2: 19 attempted 16correct - 45
Overall : 62 marks:nono:

I dont know how i screwed up QA which is my stong area.But there is no point in crying over spilt milk.I'm happy with my aimcat score (104) and hope to continue my 100+ streak.Hope all of you do a good job in the upcoming xams as well :grin:

oh hmmm...btw CONGRATS for AIMCAT1320...especially the first section marks....rocking score..

QA , there were quite a few easy questions but i was totally out of touch.. once i knew i had done QA badly , messed up DI too :biggrin:

decided that i will go with CL and TESTfunda this time , this was the first mock.. will start with testfunda and the Unproctured CL mocks only aftr i make some progress in preparation 😃

same here.hav my university xams goin on and need to really brush things up.i think it would be best if we complete the basics by the end of june and start taking the previous years mocks.

i would lyk this year's aimcats ... I have last years' , was a TIME student for CAT 2011:) .. 89.xx ( QADI - 95.95 , VALR- 62.xx)

I'll send them once they are uploaded.I gave CAT 2011 too.OA 94%(QA/DI-96%,VA/LR-89.7%).Was shortlisted for first stage of IIMK admission.But fell short of the general category cutoff by 1.5 marks.
My profile is Xth-93%,XIIth-96%,B.Tech-82%.Can u imagine with 93% at high school i was just given a score of 9.7/20.That was what brought me down.Hope that doesnt happen this year too.......... 😃

but bad luck on the normalisation.. yea , same case here with IIM K , chucked out after the first stage... :biggrin:

Over all

Decent start, but have to work out a lot for sec II.
