if you go for 3 year complete accidental cover then they will give you 8% corporate discount.
if you dont go for it or go for 1 year cover then its 5% corporate discount.

complete cover accidental damage means if you accidentally drop the lappy or do something 😁 which destroys it, they will validate the extent of damage and replace you with a new one. many of my frnds have benefited with this offer 😁 :wink

Acer may be avoided considering majority of the famous brands are offering in the same range even Sony Vaio E series.
And I personaly didn't had good experience.

hi..i too was in gr8 dilemma and acer 5740G i5 seemed to be the best option...but after lot of thoughts and feedbacks(about acer and not the product) decided to go with Dell Studio 15. Acer 5740G though is one hell machine with loads of features...its selling very good overseas with stocks disappearing quickly...but acer as a brand doesnt seem to pick up great responses at least in India....Sony Eb 14 and EB 16 can be good options but battery consumption will be huge bcoz of HD screen....so I went for DELL...
Its all my research and opinion...hope it helps...others' opinions may vary according to their experiences with brands and products
