I am getting the 2nd gen inspiron 14R, with same config (except the GPU is AMD 6470m), for 47K.

U guys should get 3-5% discount, if u forgo the backpack. Otherwise, full price+ backpack(targus Meridian), which costs 3K.

Yeah, initially they'll give u the full price. Only when u confirm the order they'll give u the revised prices.

Tell u what, ask for 3% discount, without the bag.

Or else, take the bag. It is good, provided u din't mean to stuff books in it, only files.

hiii, can anyone give me a review of sony VPCEA46FG/L laptop......is it good enough to spend 41 k.....

Hey , I'm also considering the same model ,trust me its the best you can get that too from a brand like sony, and the VAIO tag has always been associated with professional look. which is a plus point.

The only problem I feel is the lack of 2nd Gen i5 processor , while all other competitors have launched 2nd gen. Sony guys need to pace up.
and can you please tell me which dealer quoted you 41k price tag ? ( any contact details , as all what I am hearing here in Delhi is 44-46k in market.

Thank you

Sry to disappoint you..but d laptop u're planning to go for isnt a gud buy..cause if u r going for graphic card-then the card in this laptop wnt help u much for gaming..as most of d games wnt play on it..however if u r luking at only watching movies in HD..then it's ok....

in 14" for gaming u cn consider-HP-G4-1010x nd DV4-3016tx, Acer 4820TG,Insprion 14,XPS 14..nd dere r some models in Asus too

in 15"..Z570 is d best buy...d den dere r also HP DV6 series nd Sony E series in 45-48k range

Processor- Intel Core i3 (2.1Ghz or above ) Generation-I
RAM 2 GB (single module) DDR III, (2 DIMM Slots)
HDD 320 GB SATA Hard disk
Weight Max. 2.4 KG
wi-fi+blueooth
Plz suggest a model

Which configuration should I go for
dell 15R
i3 second gen
2.1 ghz turboboost
500 gb
nvidia card(1gb)
win 7 home premium
rs. 41990
or
dell 14R
i5 first gen
2.3 ghz
500 gb
ati card(1gb)
no windows
rs. 40900

There isn't much difference in real world the performance of the two. Please base your decision on the portability and the battery performance. If you want it for gaming, please mention the graphics model number. ATI cards 465x, 47xx, 48xx, 56xx, 57xx etc are recommended. Avoid Nvidia 220s/240s higher cards here are okay.
