what is the basic difference between 'inspiron' and 'xpx' versions of Dell ?
xpx is costlier than inspiron ! why so ?

also tell me which Video Card is better
1) Intel HD Graphics 3000 (For ICC)
2) AMD Radeon HD 6470M - 1GB (For ICC) ------(what is ICC)
3) NVIDIA GeForce GT 525M - 1GB

I just had one important query, is the Dell XPS 15 2nd gen processor model available in shops? I searched around the Kolkata region but could not find any. I could only get the above model. Do let me know if the same can be bought in Delhi or otherwise.

If u want to buy Inspiron 2nd Gen, nope. Only online. Hell, Dell has 2 exclusive stores in delhi, and one of them doesn't even has a demo piece of these (Didn't check out the bigger one in Nehru Place, too far from home/office). I wanted to see Dell's implementation of chiclet/island style keyboards.

As regards 2nd Gen XPS, u can get them offline, but I guess only at Nehru Place.

And also tell me d procedure to get it from you..

well they have reversed it in case of gpu. Look at the gpu provided in 14R which is in my opinion pathetic. The one in 15R, 525m is the same one available with xps brand also.

Yeah, AMD 6470 is not as good as ATI 5650. How the bloody ever, NVIDIA 525M doesn't supports Linux, atleast not without some hacks. End of the Story. Buying i5 1st gen.
