That is awesome configuration bro and if you get it at that cost, there is nothing to think about, but I really am skeptical about the Asus brand. I haven't seen much sales for the brand when compared to others, though the cost is considerably less. Maybe some puy will be able to give in there views on the brand.
I'm just confused about the aftersales service ! I hav 95% made up my mind to get this hotcake at chorbazaari price .. 😛 waitng for sum reviews that's it !!
i have made my mind to buy the dell 15R laptop with i7 processor i was going through the customization on the website to know what would be the best configuration for me and what would be the price but when i selected on the the 9 cell battery instead of 6 cell default one the preview showed something pointy slender shaped thing coming out of the laptop's backside i think that is the extended battery and it looked really stupid do anyone know is it really the case? do the 9 cell battery really makes laptop look so stupid and its case is coming out of the laptop's body that absurdly?
Yes. it actually looks really stupid. One of my friend opted for 9 cell battery and regretted it later. Moreover, Dell is already a bulky lappy, so adding battery power makes it even bulkier.
Though i had earlier thought of getting AMD athelon (coz of an interesting deal) instead of Intel i3, i someone find that Intel is more popular processor. I also read that AMD has some over heating issues, so i think i will stay with Intel. i have been looking at Dell Inspiron series having i3 processor. I am able to get a DOS based version with 2 year warranty for about Rs34000, while the same thing with Windows OS is available for Rs36500. i want to know if the OS i have ie Win XP professional can be used on i3 processor. Someone mentioned that i3 processor having an OS Win XP professional can not work properly, and a Win7 is needed for it.
hi freinds, need laptop of maximum budget of Rs 40000

hi its a nice buy,..and iam too going for XPS 15 as no other model can beat it in the price range... One think i want to share is go with FHD screen as i have heard from a lot of review that its worth its price and buying a XPS without it will not be a good option(and u will love it every time when you use your lappy )..and the backlit K/B is also another loving feature of it...ATB
I'd recommend u to check out Lenovo Z series nd G series laptops wid 2nd gen processors...will cost u atleast 6-7k cheaper wid better luks...a bulk deal for Z570 is in d final stages in Delhi....PM me if interested
y are d accessories for sony vaio so xpensive !!!! charger for vaio C series costs me Rs. 5600 and battery for Rs.7800.. dts too much off an amount !! even the compatible ones are xpensive !! 😞
since u r intersted in gaming ,even chk out d hp dv6 series; the new dv6 series has ddr5 graphics.. none of the company has come up wid that..in a layman language , 1 gb dd3 graphics is almost equivalent to 512mb ddr5 graphics.
see i5 has turbo boost and greater speed. its neday betr dan the 2nd gen i3. i even compared the windows rating index for the 2 processors on laptops of the same company and under same brand series . It was higher incase of i5 than the 2nd gen i3. i3 is better in GPU performance as intel has introduced 32 nm technology- now v hv d graphics and the processor on the same die (in nutshell , stronger GPU)

Hi.
I would suggest you go for inspiron 14/15r. You can customize it and cost would be quite reasonable. One suggestion is that add three year accidental coverage under warranty. Although its a bit expensive it will come in handy down the lane.
General spec for your needs would be
Core i3, 3 or 4 gb ram, 320gb hard disk. If you are into gaming, go for 1gb graphics card.
anyone has any idea about the inspiron latops? what is the main difference between the 15R and M501R?
The major difference between the two models is in the processors they are based on. While, 15 R is based on Intel processors, M501R is based on AMD processors.
