of the models u have listed dell is the most practical coz of a good chipset and if u get it before 29 apr u will get another 256 mb ram free. i also selected this model and the price incl taxes is 61000 in delhi. if u are a gamer and play heavy duty games then u must go forr ATI RADEON card but that will set u back by another 7000.
so the thing to do is call dell on 1600-44-4026 and talk to their rep about customizing ure lappy or get one from the US. a fully loaded INSPIRON 6000 costs about RS 56000, i can vouch fro this coz i too am gettin one from there.

if ur budget can stretch up to 65k u can get Dell with 80GB HDD and 512MB RAM, for 63k u can get 60GB HDD and 512 MB RAM.
my advice would b to buy atleast 60GB HDD, 40 GB is useless especially if it cannot b upgraded and 512MB RAM is also preferable. if u r planning to buy in bulk with ur friends/batchmates say 5 of ull u can avail a discount of 2k on each piece.

a person coming from US can bring only one laptop with him for the second one he will have to pay duty which will nullify the discount. so it doesnt make sense asking him to get it, instead u buy it from here.

u may not have to pay any duty provided the person carrying it shows it as if he is using it and that it belongs to him. generally majority of the companies r offering an international warranty on their models so once u get ur piece u can transfer ur warranty from US to Asia database to avail free service in India for the stipulated period.
