Buying a dell laptop, whether it is good to buy through dell website or local dealer? Can we bargain with dell people when we place the order? I mean asking them to provide some freebies... ?
Dell ppl also engage in bargaining, but u have 2 convince dem a lot Local dealers can give BIG discounts

inspiron is cheaper than the studio.it depends on the budget and anyways you can always configure your dell.also i do suggest everyone when buying a dell laptop to get the 3 year cover.it comes quite handy!! for eg my friend had got an inspiron a year ago it was all working fine until one day he broke it and they dell guys gave him a i3 version for free free free.
i dont know y dell stopped selling 1525 inspiron which i cud say is d best medium segment laptop(they sold with a variety of colours dat ppl even today appreciate d colour of ma laptop), i have used it for over 3yrs and no problems at all except d battery backup has dropped from 2.5 to 1hr, and i dont know y ppl think of vista wen windows 7 has it all, my frnd bought an inspiron even with high specs its troubling her again and again, so pls dont think of inspiron now, also it heats up fast so take care of ur lap..... speaking of mini laptops i have benq mini, it has battery backup to over 6hrs and runs winxp reallly fast, even playing games is not a big deal. but although it costs high i think sony and apple r d champs.

I think you should go for lenovo G series, since, you will get above configuration around 35k,but,in case of Vaio and HP,you will get same configuration around 40k,rest choice is yours..............

More memory of RAM = More performance. Suggestion regarding RAM:- Go for new generation DDR3 SDRAM either 2GB or 4GB.The higher the MHz the greater the speed of the RAM.
More memory of Graphic card doesn't means good performance. The amount of video memory is not a measurement of speed of a card is.Higher-end cards based upon more powerful GPUs with are faster than lower-end cards based upon weaker GPUs. Having more memory helps things to run smoothly at very high resolutions but it doesn't matters a lot.The quality of graphic card should be the best.Any card below 4K is a crap.If you wish to play above mentioned games, any card below 4K can run these games but they lack performance. If you want to play these games on maximum settings, you must go with a good GPU.
To play above mentioned games, graphic card of 512mb is sufficient or one should go for 1gb graphics card??
512MB is sufficient to play these games but if you're planning to play some newly launched games, you must go with a very good GPU with 512MB or 1GB memory.
