moreovr u al wil b gettin better upgrade options...if u hav decided a particular model hav luk at dell u wil get same fr cheap.

dude , i have the same model from dell . bought it in USA , 4 yr old . even i am facing problems with my lappie but never have the customer care or tech support not helped me . the only **** up is tht dell s maintainence n warranty extension is bloody expensive .. if , u dun wanna buy from dell , just search around for that kinda battery from the web ( ebay , bestbuy , deals2buy ...) ul find the battery for this model

I don't find people wanting to purchase a Mac. Maybe they are apprehensive or something. But most of the professionals use macintosh systems as they are far more reliable, more secure and speedier than windows counterparts. An the white beauty is mesmerizing. Mac was always better than windows, but it was the narrow-target-audience of Apple that stopped it to gain monopoly.
Errr.... I am not a Mac owner. But a friend of mine is a Mac lover. And trust me, if you use a macintosh system once, you will never want to use windows(other Mac lovers would agree).
He has just got pro with Leopard OS. It is expensive, but the interface is lovely. Plus, for those who cannot part from windows, now, you get a Bridge with Mac which allows you to run windows on the same system too.. Even I want to get one, but then apple launched I-Pad, and I am confused what to buy first
btw, I am not a Mac sales person:)... Was just giving some option to those who might be interested.
And, I have a problem, if someone has experienced the same before, or knows a solution, please suggest.
I had bought this Toshiba Satellite laptop 5 years ago for around 85K+. It worked well for sometime, but then it demonstrated the following problems:
1) The battery backup became like around 5-10 minutes
2) The touch pad become unresponsive when place on glass or wooden surface, but works if kept in lap
Now, I bought a Dell laptop last year for around 34K. The same problem with the touch-pad is occurring with it too :o

I am having the same lappy..it is a good buy,but if u like to play games then u may have to rethink as games like dota donot work on full screen on it.

This is very good buy Nikhil, go for it. Its cheap and has latest components. If you are novice in laptop arena , then just inquire a bit about Acer's performances/services, if satisfied then go ahead.
I want quality product with great appearance/feel. For me, appearance wise Sony & Macbook stands apart (personal view only). Mac is out of reach for me & I have no experience in Mac OS, so may be I will go for Sony, since my budget is not constrained.
Remember, laptops are 'Personal Computers' , so liking any laptops or not is completely personal. Buy anything which YOU feel good about.
