However, they refused to offer any kind of discount whatsoever...!! hence, m looking to order online now... if anyone has purchased online in Delhi and managed to get some discount, kindly quote the number of the Dell agent, would be a great help...!!

truephilo Sayshey please avoid touch screens... dey get bad easily and hp isn't da best with touch screen panels... if u r really interested in touchscreens dr are better machines in asus and mac inventories... my advice avoid....
hey thanks for the advice.. the prob is now i have already ordered mine.. can u tell me one thing.. if the touch screen gets spoilt, i can still use it like a normal screen rite or do i have to repair it and only then will the dispaly work?

whoa! dats hell of a techie question... like u said its a normal notebook with a touch screen n not a tablet as such, so for all practical reasons ur notebook will work just as fine. but the tertiary screens often get dead pixels (pixels dat dont respond to image or respond lethargically). Plz gimme da model no. or some info. i can ask some one who is more eligible to answer dis. but now dat u dont have an option but to hail ur new lappy, start liking it. i think it will serve u gud by not knowing all da cons. 😛 btw it wont get screwed easily and may be extra care will do good. don't use touch screen too often dat shud solve half da problem. optimism ....

yes, sony has stopped the production of eb 16 and only the inventory is being sold in the markets

I've only done a little research on refurbished Macs, and that too some years back, so I might not entirely qualify to comment. But as far as I know, refurbished Apple products are as good as new ones. Almost all people I read from had good feedback to give.
That said, do check if the model you're buying has some previously known issues.

Bhai its normal...manufacturers consider 1000 bytes as 1 Kb while ur OS considers 1024 bytes as 1Kb...thts y ur losin 38GB...relax...
