I have completed me graduation from pune university. While filling the marks for graduation, do we need to fill the aggregate marks of all the 4 years or only the final year. As in degre certificate the percentage marks considered is only of the final year. And i have already filled my final marks only during registration on snaptest
Hi @taskson, the filling in of the required percentage marks is normally based on the score system your university follows. As you said that Pune University considers only the marks from the final year to calculate the aggregate percentages, you can safely fill in the same in the SNAP application form. :)

whats the fee strucutre in Symbiosis Colleges
@Ronnie1 said:
hiPls let me know if i have to pay the application fee for the institutions right away or can it be payed post the declaration of results?TIA.

I can answer your questions with reference to SIBM Pune.

The fees structure is as follows:
Rs. 10.1 L for two years divided as Rs. 5..25 L for the first year and 4.85 L for the second year.

Also, SIBM-P, like other Symbiosis colleges, requires a certain fees to be paid to apply for admission. You can find more information about the same in your application form on www.snaptest.org

Yes, you do have a great chance if you get a good SNAP score.See, the minimum percentage requirement of 50% is just a cutoff level. It does not hold much importance in the selection process afterwards.So, as you have the minimum required percentage, you need not worry about it and can concentrate on doing your best in SNAP. P. S. Coffee With SIBM, our annual aspirant interaction exercise will be coming to 22 cities this year to help you with SNAP and clear you queries while giving u a first person's insight into SIBM.So follow us on Facebook for more. www.facebook.com/CoffeeWithSIB...

Does SIBM accept graduate degrees earned via correspondence? Certain colleges (like SCMHRD and SIMS) list 'full time bachelors degree' in their eligibility criteria, and even though the SIBM website doesn't mention 'full time' ,I just wanted to know if my B.Com degree from Pune University (ie not from any particular college that was affiliated to the Uni, rather just appeared for the university final exams every year,along with the regular full time students) would be a disqualifier or just a weakness in my profile?
Hi @PrernaG16 ..

Regarding your query about being able to apply to SIBM Pune, you can apply as long as you have a degree (be it correspondence) from a university which is UGC approved.

2) Is There is any scholarship provide to Category Student (SC).
just checked the snap test site and it says we have to pay for each instituition individually . I thought the initial snap fee was enough for appearing in t he process of all instituition and i remember filling out the colleges i am applying to in the snap registration form . pls clarify if we need to pay for each instituition individually.
@Jakes Hi, you need to pay for individual institutes separately, apart from SNAP application.
@c2c The placement details on our website are very much authentic. The statistics apply more or less the same for every specialization. We do not divulge individual profiles and salaries, in accord with our placement policy with recruiters. Rest assured they're among the best in India.

Scholarships mandated by Government of India apply at SIU and SIBM Pune.
@VenkataramanR hello, do we need to send any documents to the institute after registering and paying the fees online? I just wanted to be sure.
Sorry, if the query was answered earlier. Thanks

@linchin
I am sure you are aware of the format of the SNAP paper. It is more or less same as CAT. Just two main differences:
1. GK section
2. Logical Reasoning questions are of 2 marks and the other questions are of one mark each.

So if you want to maximise your score, u may want to practice a lot of LR sets. Other than that just prepare the way you have been preparing for CAT and you should be fine!

For GK, just go through main events of last year pertaining to politics, sports, business and corruption.

@vaibhavp unfortunately I am not aware of SNAP exam, I just got to know. I am not from business field, I am a doctor and I want a career shift.
@linchin

In that case, i would suggest you go through the snap papers of past few years to get an idea about it. In case you have any specific queries, you can pm me..

hi
10th-82.4%
12th-65.4%
B.E-53.33%
My experience in software industry is approximately 2 years. With such a low score in graduation should i apply for SIBM,Pune or spend the same amount on some other lower rank colleges.I have a doubt that even if I go past the cut off whether or not I'll a get a call from this college since my profile is weak.I know the eligibility criteria is 50% in grad. but still i am little doubtful of getting call.Also, please provide me a list few good colleges where i can apply and chances of me getting into that are positive.
