Hi puys... I couriered my applications for XAT and XLRI on 25th November via BlueDraft and I had bought the forms on the 18th of November. I got a confirmation from BlueDraft itself that they has been received on 26th November.. However I have yet to get any message or email from XAT authorities.. and have heard many people have.. all this is worrying me.. have u people also received your admit cards or anything??

Puys how are u planning to score a good %ile in QA.....
I gave a try to QA section of both 2010 (got 10.5 in 40 mins) and 2009 (only a 4 in 41 mins :banghead::banghead::banghead: ).....
I want to know from the QA champs and those who have scored heavily in this section of XAT (may be last year or mocks) as to what should be an ideal strategy to come up with a good score in this section on any given day.....
Accuracy is needed for sure...but any specific material to prepare for the kind of QA and DI (calculation intensive) they ask......
Any link or some material would be a great help....thnx in advance....
P.S.:- I am not good at PnC and probability so I always tend to leave them unless they are easy....

cal dem n ask if they have received ur app n it is uploaded to their system...if it has been...then uploading of sign wnt matter...u'd b able 2 download d admit card.
I filled the application, during the last days, that is 29 th of Nov, and today they changed the status to photo is yet to be uploaded. So, all those, who filled during last days, can check their application, and stop worrying.
What are the possibilities of the negative marking scheme being the same as that in 2010 (0.20 for the first 5 incorrect, 0.25 thereafter) as against that in 2009 (0.25 for the first 6; 0.5 thereafter)?
Also, what to do about Quant? I tried the XAT 2009 paper, and found VA and LR to be quite doable, but Quant seemed to be too complex (perhaps its the rust from prepping for FMS). Cleared the overall cut-offs, but couldn't score more than 7.5 in QA. Any tips on which sections to focus on, and any resources to solidify concepts?

Now that i`ve paid the fee via a card, it asks me to download the PP form. when i do that i download a file application_status.aspx
I cant open this file :(
Also, my selected institute XLRI is also not showing in the final form.
Do we now need to apply for XLRI separately? Last date?

I am trying to apply for NITIE mumbai.I have successfully created the userid and password,but after logging in as I am clicking on "click here to start online process" button the page is not navigating to personal detail page.
It is mentioned that the date of registration is extended upto 21st dec 2010.
Please advice,"how should i apply for NITIE mumbai"?
Guys I made a blunder of not sending the 10th,12th and degree marks card along with pp form.. I registered through online mode. I tried to contact through helpline and even sent them a mail but no reply. Will I be allowed to write the exam or my xat attmept this time is gone

My status shows 'Your application has been received' (as of 3rd Dec) however my Signature and Pic have not been uploaded. What should I do? I am a bit nervous.
I tried calling them on toll free nos but no response. Can anyone tell me the nos. where I shd call them? (I tried finding them in this post but cdn't find).

those are the only numbers to call. You have to call them numerous times before they pick up eventually
And about uploading of photo and sig, don't worry. There are many people who are in the same condition till now.
I see a XAT APPLICATION STATUS link, wherein when I login I can see my signature and photo updated. Also it mentions a date for release of admit card. I remember that I confirmed my Photo and Signature by updating a No to both the mismatch qns. But I still see that update button (for mismatch qns) active (clickable). Is that a problem?
also, is there anything similar for XLRI application status, as in we need to login and do something for our XLRI course application?
