Hey Guys,
I m studying in an engineering college affiliated to Uttar Pradesh Technical University.They have ruined my plan for XAT as I have my semester exam on 2nd Jen.
I m unable to write XAT after filling the form..........
I have written mails to higher authorities regarding this and also to HRD ministry,but got no response.
What should I do now, any suggestion?????????:oops:

which university schedules its exam on a sunday.. ??
in any case the XAT authorities won't be making any special provisions for u..
so just concentrate on ur college exam... :cheerio:
EDIT: Okay so u wrote to the university ppl... :l .. if a large no. of people request, they might consider...

of course see if they postpone your exam, but explore the option of not appearing for your exam...if retests are available and also, if your results are good enough that they can take the hit of a missed exam.... best of luck.
dude colleges dont consider the different exams happening around while deciding upon their timetable...this happens to a huge no. of ppl every year with important exams like CAT,IIFT etc coming in between their semester papers...just consider it ur bad luck and concentrate on ur paper...cheers and all the best

But for Christ sake, what has happened to XL this time around. Not specifically to this particular incident but a new website that was not properly designed, people not picking up phones (they must be getting huge number of calls for sure) and the likes. The payment issue, it just does not end. I just hope they give our Admit Cards without much hassle. 😃

My photo was not uploaded..And i got the brochure only on saturday ... the deadline for submission of PP form is 5 th dec but what can be done if i get it only on 11 december.

Send it and keep your fingers crossed.
If I were you, get a letter stating this thing and further some proof to back it up.

Firstly my photograph and signature have not been uploaded even after one month of sending. I am trying to call them but no one is picking up the phone. Also mailed but no reply. Does some one here also having or had same problem. And if yes then were you able to contact them or not and what was their reply?
Secondly I did my payments for XLRI and XAT online. Sent all the documents etc. Received XAT bulletin a few weeks ago which says that I didnt need to send the detachable form inside to them (Just as mentioned in the website) but today i received my XLRI form and it reads that I need to send the form inside to XLRI office which is quiet contrary to whats been mentioned in the website. Kindly let me know what you have done?

Cud you tell me clearly what are you mentioning here. What did you got on 11 dec whose deadline is 5th dec. I think if you applied online or thru DD then you dont need to send anything now. You must have already sent your PP form long before?

The photo is not an issue.
I did my payment online too, I could not find any form inside my XL Prospectus and I don't think we (online payment mode) need to send a form. In my prospectus, Pg 47, that page is blank. They must have sent you the DD prospectus by mistake. Someone else could also shed some light on this too.
