I called XAT adm office a few mins bk...they are saying that they are uploading randomly and not according to the dates on which they recieved the form...so we should wait.

nope last year the cut offs are infact lower...

last year scores of 38+(acc to coaching institutes) would have given one percentiles in high 99.xx
because my score varied from 29.xx to 32.xx acc to various key sheets and i landed up with 98.46%
so u can calculate accordingly
generally the cutoffs would hover around 98 for BM and close to 96 for PMIR
if i am not wrong cut offs for XAT 2009 were close to 37(not sure)
but in XAT 2009 LR part is very easy and cut offs are high in that section(12+)
any how the trick in XAT is to spend time equally in all sections and perhaps a bit more in verbal part as verbal cut off is very important for both BM and PMIR..........
Thanks..actually I had used the PG polls on the after exam scores and the poll on percentiles to calculate...there are 150 odd people who polled scores of 38+ and 150 odd who polled 98%ile+....so I took that as a guiding point..
Obviously who have given the exam are the best source of info for such things, so thanks for the clarification.
Also, could you shed some light on the sectional cutoffs? as in what raw score was 90%ile plus in each section?

QA/DI - A score of 9.5-10 was equal to 92%ile i.e the cutoff
VA - There were a lot of variations with the keys, but you can safely assume that a 10+ score was enough for even PMIR
OA-Percentile
30 - 98
35 - 99
40 - 99.6
45 - 99.9
Someone aiming at only BM should try to maximize their QA score as the cutoffs for QA in the last 2 yrs have gone up to as high as 92-94.5, while the other 2 sections have been around 90%ile

Is there any date by which XLRI will start uploading its application status like in case of xat ? If not what shud i do? Pls help!

I am looking for the same.....there isn't much in TIME's material :(...although there is a book for critical reasoning...101 ethical dilemmas
i had written xat last yr...if m nt wrong...critical reasoning has substantial weightage...............
What are the topics one needs to stress upon for XAT apart from the usual we have studied for CAT and the like ? Critical reasoning seems to be one looking at the above posts. Any other, out of the way topic, so to speak ?
