Well i checked my application status few mins back. It is approved and i can see my photograph and signature uploaded in the page.
I guess they will upload it phase by phase. So just wait for 2-3 days else it's better to follow up with xat office.

I sent it in the beginning of October...the funny thing is I have recieved my XLRI prospectus but nt d XAT bulletin.

Need help.

1. On logging in to my XAT account (i.e. the 'XAT Login' link on xlri.net.in), the final submissions page shows blank against the 'Associate institutes' field. I do remember having selected XLRI and XIMB as my chosen associated institutes, but the website's not showing that. Is there some way to edit it now, or some way to contact XL and get the error fixed? Is someone else facing the same problem?

2. On the website, there's a link for XAT registration, and a separate link for XLRI registration. I hadn't tried the XLRI-Registration part at the time of registering, can the problem (1) be due to that? Again, can something be done about it now?

1. The associate institute names are not displayed on the final submission page. I called the XAT helpline and they said that the names of the associate institute are stored in the XAT database and the scores will be forwarded to those colleges.
2. You need to apply separately to XLRI or other XAT member Institutes.

i snt my pa form on 23rd......mailed it thru speed post......on xat site ,it says form is under processing..........and there is no update on speed post tracker website.....anybody wid the same problem????

Hey Puys, I've not yet receivd the XLRI bulletin n i sent the PA form along with all the necessary docus on 17th Nov. Te courier's site shows the package has been delivered on 19th . Is there any date by which XLRI will start uploading its application status like in case of xat ? If not what shud i do? Pls help!

I wanted to know the approximate sectional cutoffs in terms of raw scores for last year's paper. Does anyone have a general idea??

I searched through the old threads for XAT 2010 and could gather that 38+ was needed for 98%ile overall. Also, around 90%ile in each section was also needed for a BM call.

hii.. so now only one biggie left.. and that is XAT... can someone pls share the overall and invidual cutoffs for XLRI-BM call for 2010,09,08 papers... it would of gr8 help to people who are attempting XAT for the first time..

P.S. I tried searching on the thread but cudnt find them all..

The Essay is not evaluated for Giving a BM/PMIR call after XAT.
The essay is considered only during the Interviews.

Can seniors throw some light on what needs to be done in the last 25 days to maximise score in XAT.
Strategies on decision making (any literature/books if possible wud be truly appreciated)
Strategies on QA&DI; (More on the lines of clearing cut offs)

Buddy cutoffs are a subjective matter and your performance in the paper relative to others. What you can do is maximize ur score in every section and leave the rest to your harwork/luck etc. Generally you need upwards of 98.5 percentile overall and a good performance in every section if u r targeting XLRI. Don't worry about the cutoffs w/o seeing the paper. Stay calm and practice as much as you can. Hope this helps:thumbsup:

nope last year the cut offs are infact lower...

last year scores of 38+(acc to coaching institutes) would have given one percentiles in high 99.xx

because my score varied from 29.xx to 32.xx acc to various key sheets and i landed up with 98.46%
so u can calculate accordingly

generally the cutoffs would hover around 98 for BM and close to 96 for PMIR

if i am not wrong cut offs for XAT 2009 were close to 37(not sure)
but in XAT 2009 LR part is very easy and cut offs are high in that section(12+)

any how the trick in XAT is to spend time equally in all sections and perhaps a bit more in verbal part as verbal cut off is very important for both BM and PMIR..........
