As I remember, XL publishes the shortlisted candidates list(result) within one or two hour of declaring the XAT result.

It's very difficult to predict the cut-offs, especially for the XAT exam (considered as one of the most toughest and the superb management entrance exam).:w00t:
In predicting the cut-offs, our so called GREAT coaching institutes itself went out of order (off course they went out of order in publishing the answers itself, that's a diffnt story).
So the only option for everyone of us is to wait till the results are declared instead of speculation.

As per last year trend the result is already delayed, so we can expect them any time, just my opinion.

I heard the cut off %iles for BM was around 98.03 and for HR it was 95 %ile odd. Is it true?
Does that mean that any one above a %ile of 95 odd was called for the HR course GDPI provided the sectionals were cleared and had applied?
Also what is the last %ile convert for both the courses?

dont think so i thnk those are the minimum percentiles required to be eligible for a call , they called arnd 1200 ppl last year i think 1 lac ppl gave the exam so i am guessing they even look at ur acads n profile before giving the call

kindly refrain from speculating if you don't know the answer to any query.. The calls for GD/PI are given solely on the basis of XAT score..other factors are considered in the next round.. so going by the trend, if you clear the overall and sectional cutoffs, you will definitely get a call..!!

From xat 2010
For Human Resource Management Programme around 650 applicants having more than 92.60 percentile in VA, 80.36 percentile in QA, 84.36 percentile in RA, and overall 95.03 percentile wer shortlisted for Group Discussion and Personal Interview.
For Business Management Programme around 550 applicants having more than 90.13 percentile in VA, 91.31 percentile in QA, 90.01 percentile in RA, and overall 98.02 percentile wer shortlisted for Personal Interview
I have done B.Com(H).Thinking of applying to XISS??Shall I???Too confused...Suggest me something...Is the institute that good...as compared to other Xaviers!?

XLRI clearly says that 650 candidates will be called for PMIR and 550 for BM. Now, if they stipulate a cut off percentile and call EVERYONE over that percentile, then to give out just 650 calls for PMIR, such a cut off should be well over 95.
Similarly, to call just 550 candidates out of around one lakh applicants, the cut off has to be well over 99 percentile, because 99 percentile would mean a rank of around 1000! Which means, if they say the cut off is 98 percentile, they will have to call close to 2000 candidates JUST for BM.
