T.A. Pai Management Institute, also known as TAPMI, has been a coveted management institute since its inception in 1980. TAPMI is among the top institutes in India and also stands among the 5% of the top international business schools to have received the prestigious Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) accreditation. It is considered the oldest and toughest accreditation in management education. TAPMI is both AACSB and Association of MBAs (AMBA) accredited.

BBA Honors Program at TAPMI

The Bachelor of Business Administration Honors (BBA Honors) program of TAPMI aims to transform young students into global business leaders with a multi-dimensional perspective. The structure of the program has been carefully curated, keeping in mind a need to sharpen students’ outstanding intellectual ability and develop a cross-disciplinary mindset and in-depth functional expertise in them.

This 4-year program also incorporates international tours with organized visits to world-class industries abroad. For the holistic development of students, the program also includes student-driven co-curricular activities such as the TAPMI book club (TBC) and the Technology Club. The BBA Honors program is being offered at TAPMI Bengaluru at the sprawling campus of Manipal Academy of Higher Education at Yelahanka.

The program allows the students to stay connected with the industry through a dedicated corporate engagement (CE) team. A strong advisory board with industry stalwarts provides guidance and mentorship to students. Students of this program undergo three internships, four live projects, and several industry workshops, along with lectures and talks by industry leaders. 

With MAHE having collaborations with more than 200+ universities across the globe, the kind of global exposure that the students receive is great. These collaborations can be leveraged for student exchange programs and international faculty teaching courses.

Year-Wise Structure of the BBA Honors Program

The BBA Honors program has been curated to offer structured learning through its 4 years duration. This program offers a multidisciplinary foundation in the first year, progressing to a highly specialized course curriculum in the fourth year with on-demand courses.

Year 3: Specialization Courses

Year 4: Honors Track with three options: (a) Advanced Specialization, (b) Entrepreneurship, (c) Research

Students are offered internships at the end of the first, second and third years with live projects every semester. After graduating from the BBA program, students can join an M.Sc Program offered by the University of Southampton. If a student wants to exit the course after 3 years of the program, they will be awarded a BBA degree.
