Got a call for both PGDM & HR with a meager 95.12 guess work-ex got me through

Now my querries with reasons:

1. Does a X board exams percentage which i passed ten years back could be the lone spoiler for the rest of my hard work of my life and can a marks in tenth board decide my suitability to even sit for GD/PI and if you consider tenth board marks as the benchmark then why an HR call those will be the same in every case whatsoever ohh!! you mean to say HR ppl dont require that much of intelligence in class X.
2. Now there are some 50 boards in India and each of them have different criteria for giving out marks - eg. Its normal to get a 90+ in south state boards but in raj. up boards 82-84 is the topper. Then how can you judge according to that. One has to have a normalization of marks for that and that is not possible for a college of IMI stature bcoz u ppl just cant get that kinda of data by any means(with due respect to imi and all state boards)
3. You say you have looked at profiles then in what way you ppl looked at my profile ohh from X board perspective. But man being in a professional institute like imi your belief in indian educational system is impeccable and i respect that. It had been just a bit more gr8 if you looked at the overall profile.
4. What IMI is up to i dont understand here but there is something hidden behind profile based calls as in some Symbi style colls and that is known by all....or it is a measure to achieve 100% placement fig by making some weird set of rules as done by some colleges.
5. If your college thought that they will have profile based calls this year why didnt they tell us before hand before the forms were filled and a transparent criteria for the same, i would have taken my decision then when the ball is in your court you change the rules this is not done man .... I feel cheated i want my money back... that was my hard earned money.
6. And yes about spreading the word you know word of mouth publicity that comes with years of branding and valued the most in the industry. What kinda of a word will go about imi wrt to these kinda of calls u know for urself...atleast i am not supporting this by any means and i know u cannot justify this coz this doesnt makes any sense. IMI should introspect in itself then think of spreading the word.
7. I will attend the interview of HR only to tell the panel that this is pathetic and is not justifiable as what u ve done and no way i am gonna join imi until i get my due respected and deserved call....


P.S. - Got calls(at least these colls dont judge my suitability for sitting in an interview by x percentage) from IRMA, NMIMS, IMT G/N, TAPMI, XIMB, FMS MBA & MBA (MS), FORE and yes of cours IMI HR

first of all no offences to imi .plz consider it my personal opinion.
And to u man i know how much hurt u are though i didn't applied here.and my sincere wish is that u convert ur fms calls.

The thing which separates iim xl fms iift is that they always give u a second chance. A chance to redeem urself.i myself have a pathetic score in b tech ( thanks to those blood s***ing vampires in my college).and as usual i got a call.

Mba college sud always keep these things in mind that they are not there for earning fees. They r there to transform people,make them standout which i believe imi is. Hence equal opprt sud be given to everybody.

Also a 3 %ile increment over others in cat is more than compensates a average brd marks.

This happens only in india.
At one side there are people who get so much even then they are not satisfied. On the other, there are ones who don't get any. Self satisfaction in life is must, i feel.

Dude.. if someone has performed well enough, they deserve the calls. Just coz they have enough calls doesn't mean that they don't have the right to have one more.

Of course you're gonna join one college... then why do ppl fill so many forms.. of so many exams.. and attend so many GD/PIs. You never know which one you'll convert. If someone is good enough he has the right to convert all of them and then decide.

Are you serious? What did he say or do that makes him "inhuman". He just wants a valid reason why he didn't get a call from PGDM... which I believe he deserves.

So relax... and take it easy...
