Well it hasnt been my year.......seem to have messed up everything
High percentile in CAT abt 98.5 ....kicked out because of sub 90 Quant percentile
No calls from IIMs MDI, SPJAIN
FMS went well I thought but dint make the cut I guess
XAT : No call
Overall: 99.77 ( probably the highest until now without a call )
sectional: Verbal -> 99.92 GK -> 97.8 Quant ->88.11
Guyz I feel like a loser.....and probably rightly so
A year of failure in every way......only a 51st rank in JMET is a saving grace.....but I am not keen on joining an IIT

ur situation is really empathetic. with that gud scores in all the qualifiers, u deserve some better situation for sure. but dont b loose heart dear, just cheer up. as u've mentioned, this may not b ur yr. also, with the rank u hold in JMET, u can pull it thru to iitB, which is a nice place to b in. if u think its not worth enuf, compile one more yr of workex and give it another try.. it can never b a yr of surprises for sure, had all the surprises already happened this yr. u've proven ur class man, so dont ever feel like a looser...... absolutely no reason to think like that .. ok dude ...

Dude... even we don't have the faintest freaking idea how they evaluate everything here. no one here knows the rationale behind the calls.(eom)
Dude, I honestly dont have a clue.. . They chkd my essay - and asked me questions frm it - during the interview though...
The only thing that comes out from these posts is that,I beg to differ....refer earlier post where people with 90%iles have got calls also refer my earlier post where people with less than 95%iles in qa and VA have got calls.
people with a quant percentile above 95 and verbal percentile above 90 have got thru!

Whoppeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee, made it too............after Man U defeated Arsenal 4-2 last nite , it was a double whammy for me. was worried whether GK wud be counted or not......thnk god they did not take it as a deciding factor.
