...bhai reputation ka sawaal hai........aur ho sakta hai yahi reason ho ki jab itni bhi awareness nahi hai to GA mein bhi cutoff nahi rakha ja sakta........to bacha hum sab ka pyaara quant........aab bhai 35000 logon ka test lena kuch ko xtra time dena..:wow: .....kuch ko kam time dena.....to thodi bahut maths lagani hi padegi...:shock: ...isliye quant cutoff shud be high.......yeah yeh bhi ho sakta hai ki they assume ki some high %ilers were given more time so lets kick there asses aur kuch ko kam tuime mila to unhe bula lo.....again mathe matical assumption.....so quant cutoff high.....

hi guys... this is my first post on the forum.. i dont usually post here but somethin wierd happened and i thought i shud inform the rest of u.. me had an over all percentile of 97.3 checked last night and i hadnt got a call for BM.. was very depressed so changed my preference to PMIR and voila i'm smiling again..

I have serious doubts about the method used to calculate the final percentiles.
My scores:

I know I got jacked in QA. What I want to know is, considering the number of questions in QA, an overall percentile of ~95 seems impossible with the abysmally low percentile AND score in QA.
I think ~95 is waaaaay too high.
And another thing. My Verbal scores are supposed to be just 69% of the top score in the section even though my percentile is 99+. does this mean that the top 1% consists of one (or more) supergeniuses who did extra-extra-ordinarily well even when compared to the ppl who got 99+?
efghi Saysprobably XL don't hv SECTIONAL cut off s this time. i got selected , 99.94 %le over all, 99.98 in QA, 99.39 in GA but 78 in VA, i repeat, 78 in VA. nyway, am happy but feel sorry for those who did not not get thru.

Kinda re-inforces my feeling that this year at least QA is the only score they've looked at with a 95+ cut-off in that and nothing else. Don't know why they bothered to have the other sections really. Having said that, I guess its up to them who they want to call.
