What a great day.got selected both by ximb and nmims.
myself engr. from mnrec with 2.8yrs ex. in two companies with marketing deptt.
congrates to all of my future class mate and for wl friends, i know how it feels as i'm in
same position at iift.i wish here all of the wl will be cleared.

After what has got to be the most excrutiating interview ever....I MADE IT!!

ME in too!

Went to the site first but it wasn't responding. Then came to good old PG, and wonder of wonders, saw my name in the list posted by Nikhil (moonstruck). Thanks man!! We all owe you big time.

Had high hopes with this one after a good GD and a rocking (mostly acads based) PI!!

Final year Electronics and Comm Engg from Jamia Millia Islamia.
XAT: 99.64

Already converted MDI PGP-M and XLRI PM-IR. So wont be taking up XIMB. So the waiting list can move up by one.

Congrats to Prasun for almost making it. Had seen your enthu on the XIMB thread earlier. Good going man!

You're most welcome buddy! Well, hardly partying man, got final year exams looming large over my head.......but sure will party my a$$ off in May and June before joining MDI!!

What I did is simple intrusion into their server. no high funda(I did it, right)....

earlier when I checked the results(for GD calls), I edited the link, and deleted session id.... then deleted the last part of the link and finally reached a place where various files were listed....

This list had to be the latest (updated) file, was an MS Access mdb file.... downloaded it and posted it...
This is a simple IT crime, hope I am not booked! :x :x :x

Its their AIS server where they have stored all teir results file....they do not have any protection for it...everyone can access it...I too was keping an eye on it.
Anyways Nikhil all the best for future.

got your id through pa gal guy.Your continuous input regarding ximb is of great help.I've converted xim pgp prog.Other option is nmims and i'm in the waiting list of iift.Presently made my mind to join xim.
i'm a prod. & ind. engr. pass out from mnrec,allahabad in 2002.and have been associated with 2 companies in automobile field with their marketing dept.
my question is for how much amount i should apply for a loan.
i think it should be near 3.75L.
and, there is mentioned that fee of computer will have to be deposited with 1st instalment.how much it will be?
I've a computer, can i carry it with me?
how was the lateral for the batch of 2005.
if i'l withdraw my admission in may then how much will be the refund?

one more qs.- after going through the details of iift and ximb, I observed that most of the companies (infact except trading companies) mentioned at iift booklet are also at xim recruiter list. And besides that, xim recruiter list is much more wider than iift.

then, how it happens that there is much difference in avg. salary offered.
(it is 7.5 for one and 4.65 for other)

I know i asked too much.And, I definitely know that You will be happy to clarify my doubts.
