Anyone who has already finished their Bangalore interview and knows cheap hotels nearby?
Exam ke chakkar mai paise khatam hogaye hai, interview ke liye zyada kuch bacha nahi hai.
I had xlri interview on 24th Feb
it didn't go so well
XAT score- 98.5
10th/12th/grad - 95/90/94.3
Stream - Engineer
Work-ex - 6 months
Gender - Female
What are the chances of conversion?
This year the XGMT cut off for XIMB RM is 35 ( Odisha domicile ). Am having a score of 32.47 percentile. What is the movement for XIMB RM wait list and can I expect a waitlist call ??
Need honest answers.TIA.

In the work experience column in the xat form, i filled the TO DATE as the date of when i applied so the work-ex was considered till that date in the form. Is there any way to update the date in the form since in one of my XLRI interviews i was asked why i did not give the latest date.

When did the GMP interviews finish?
Does XAT score weightage matter too much? GD&WAT went pretty good, while interview was also nice.. But my XAT percentile is only 98.03.

Is there any official info on the XAT /other components weighatge. Basic question behind it is to know if the GD/PI/WAT do really play a realistic chance for final conversion keeping in mind similar performance by multiple candidates in Later stages. Genuine responses please.

I do not harbor any intentions of discouraging the aspirants out here. However, I feel like I should explain to you how GDs and PIs work.
These processes are behavior intensive. Which means that apart from your content, your body language, speech and tone also plays a big role.
Since such processes are highly subjective, what seems right to you may not seem right to the person interviewing you.
There's a fine line between assertive and dominating, between confident and cocky.
Whoever has had their processes, chill for now.
If you convert, you won't have much time to relax for the next one year. Don't create polls asking your chances especially when the answerers/voters are as uninformed as you are. Share your experiences and catch up on food, fun and sleep.

I have got GDPI calls from the following colleges,

5. KJ Somaiya
6. FORE, Delhi
7. Great Lakes Chennai/Gurugram
8. Xavier's School of Rural Management (Erstwhile XIMB- Rural Management)
9. NIBM, Pune (Calls are not released but confident to get one)
Which college shall I opt for, if I "supposedly" convert all of them?? If possible state your Point of view in the comments, and do keep the "ROI" factor in mind as because I don't hail from a very well to do family.
PS : I have converted MDI Murshidabad.
PS: I am inclined towards Rural management, HR, Banking Fiance, and Marketing in that order.

I have operations experience of about three years. I have no finance related backgrond at all (engineer). Will this be a problem during placements if pursue Finance in MBA? Genuine inputs would be much appreciated!
Does the length of an interview matter? Mine was very short less than 10 mins
When does XLRI announce final results? When did they announce in 2017 & 2016 ?
