GD-PI experience : 27 April, Mumbai, 1:00
Profile: XAT 82.32, CMAT 207/1263
Excellent academics + extra curricular activities + Foreign language + other
GD: The gist of the topic was such - One of the downsides of winning in the virtual world (laptop, smartphones etc) is that we expect to get the same amount of success with the same pace in the real world. Why?
The GD was overall okay, it strayed far too much. The topic was a pitfall in itself, and it was easy to get lost in the words.
PI: My PI was amazing. Contrary to my expectations, the panel was really friendly, and quite interested in what I had to say. No technical questions were asked, but they expected me to talk at length about my future plans and my vision for myself.
Creativity test: Depth
I wrote a poem and decorated it like the old illuminated manuscripts. I don't even remember what I did.
Overall, it was a good experience. I had gone in, thinking that the GD would probably kill me, but nothing of that sort happened.
