Guys , just wanted some confirmation .. Can we choose Pub Adm and Commerce as the two optional subjects for the mains???


Actually i feel i could stand well in Commerce from my experience of having completed my MBA and also my Commerce background during 11-12th class..

MBA guys I feel should really check out Commerce as it mainly involves Financial Management and HR Management and these are subjects which we go through thoroughly during our course..

Friends i sat for CSAT 2012 (Prelims) couldn't clear it...Can anyone confirm whether results (i mean d marks) are declared for the prelims for unsuccessful candidates and if yes then when they are declared?

u can take up Pud Admn and Commerce, the restricted combinations for these subjects are:

Pub Admn and Mgmt

Pub Admn and Political Science

Commerce and Mgmt

@Premilata Neither the Individual score nor the cut-off for Pre is declared by UPSC.

No...
I filed an RTI for knowing written exam marks cut off for CDS...
They replied that exam process is not over so we can not tell you marks...

Once full recruitment process is over you have the right to know your marks :)

this was not a order of SC... It was recommended by CIC.

@Premilata Central Information Commission had ordered UPSC to declare the pre marks of those candts who had asked for it using RTI, but apparently UPSC has challenged this order in Delhi High court.

Hello People,


I heard there would be a change in pattern of UPSC exam and the optional subjects in Mains would be removed like Prelims. The announcement was expected in September. Any updates on the same?
