Numerous sources tell that result will be out this week before friday and cut off is 183.

Why are you spreading rumors? Provide source to support your post.

What I think is that Aspirants should concentrate on their preps for Mains without worrying about the Prelims results.....results would be there..sooner or later...so it's better not to worry about that 😃

Besties ! :)

agreed...but if you are a deserving candidate for this....no one can stop you from grabbing that one seat out of those 80+ seats for UR candidates .. :mg:
keep working hard 😃

Resulting will definetly come this week : source : UPSC office. one of my friend called them.. most probably on thursday.

@vishu0102 said: @csl80 papers say something and this year notification says something...wat do you say? i have hardly seen any bits covered from industrial relations and labour laws, insurance and accounting and auditing??

Yes You are Right, The Old Topics which are present in the latest syllabus of APFC are : Current Events , Indian Culture & Heritage , Freedom Movement , Population, Governance & Constitution of India , Present Trends In Indian Economy, Basic Knowledge of Computer Application , General Science , Elementary Maths & Statistics & General Mental Abilities.

New Topics: Development & Globalisation , Accountancy & Auditing, Industrial Relation & Labour Laws & Insurance

So no. of new topics are 5 ( Accounts & Audit Separate topics) and old topics are 11 . From my experience i can say that UPSC Will not overflodded the question paper related with these 5 new topics although these topics are much more relavent for APFC Job. But as candidates from different faculty backgrounds applied for this post, UPSC Will surely play a level playing field for everybody.

CHEERS!

@[536995:csl80] level playing field means balancing all the topics....so every topic has basic level importance....a candidate should be aware of all the topics notified in the notification...

Hi Sharath,

Result will be soon out. Keep preparing for Mains. Commenting on whether you will make it to Mains or not will be very speculative and I think we all must refrain from speculating on this topic.

Suppose, we say that you will get selected and it turns out otherwise, then we are doomed. And if we say that you will not get selected and you get selected, then we would have already demotivated you, which might affect your preparations for mains.

So, buddy. Keep preparing for Mains. Results will be announced sooner or later.

Keep yourself motivated. You have fair chances.

Thank u palak bhai...it was a balanced reply. 😃 I m preparing anyways but juz li'l bit anxious as the 'D' day is approaching... @[39637:PalakMathur]
