whats the age limit in OBC category and maximum number of attempts?
Cut off for 2011 preliminary exam was 198 for general and 175 for obc. UPSC revealed the cut off at last. I saw the RTI on orkut.
Is the mains pattern going to be changed in 2013. I mean, are the optionals going to be quashed from the mains in 2013??
How much time upse generally take to give CS prim Results?

Hi friends, plz solve my query. At the time of filling forms for upsc, i opted for geography and public admin. as optionals. but now i want to change one of my optionals. plz experienced puys shade some light on it. is it possible to do so because i heard somewhere that one have to fill the forms for mains separately (after the result of prelim.). if it is true then can i change my optionals there? plz help guys..... It was nowhere mentioned that you can't change it while filling the detailed application form. It is better to leave for those to comment who had last time qualified the preliminary exam and filled the DAF. I also want to change my subject from polity to publi ad.
i think one has to fill fresh form for mains based on pre result....

While filling the prelims form, it was clearly mentioned that you can't change optionals later.... senior puys can put some more light on it...
@rahicecream It was nowhere mentioned tht u can't change optional later....Don't take it otherwise but it is better not to comment on a topic if u don't have proper info as wrong info can impact someone badly...
