I just checked the link for egyankosh and it is working for me. On the homepage there are two links - India and Pan-Africa e-network. Click on India. It takes time to open. Then go to IGNOU. It is all taking a lot of time.

ek doubt tha...@palakji shud i start from ncert books ya ye ignou ka material...
im thinking of taking geography as one of the optional subjects in mains (if i clear prelims)... n am confused bout the 2nd one...
but filhaal wanna start with Geo... i found even the ignou material good for a start... wat dp u suggest... n ncert books of which std for geography... 8th, 9th n 10th or even 11th n 12th shud b reffered...??
and if i start with the geography material of mains it will cover prelims too... hai na...
im preparing for upsc for the 1st time... kal se pehle to syllabus bhi nahi pata tha... itna sara syllabus dekhkar bahot darr lag raha hai... so gettin very confused... lagta hai iske liye to 6 saal bhi kam padenge... i only got 6 months in hand...
does ne hv the ncert e-books of geography or civis or economics or history of std 9th n above...
i tried downloading but error aa raha hai... kafi baar try kiya...aur aaj to page hi available nahi hai... aaj se padhai shuru karni thi but...

Palak, pardon my ignorance for I have no idea about how to go about Civil Service exams.
What is your take on taking Management as an elective. I know this question does not make much sense but have you come across people who have taken one of the electives as Management and have sailed through?
I plan to take Public Ad as the second elective. What's your opinion? I am yet to start the preparation though.
