I will give the exam in 2017 and want to start my preparation now itself. However, I'm clueless about which books to follow. Can you people help me out with the list of books needed to clear the exams?

@videh007 for fixation of any country's currency exchange rate against other country's currency is fixed by the country itself in question, further it depends if that country follows fixed exchange rate policy or floating/flexible one and further it depends on country's policy whether it follow fully convertible or partially convertible exchange rate policy, hint-recently China has devaluate its currency against other country's currency which shows China follws policy of fixing its currency's exchange rate against against other country's currency but it does not mean China follows fixed exchange rate policy, its a mix of fixed and floating/flexible or partially convertible exchange rate policy.
@videh given options for RBI's work profile does not qualify fully when it has below major works which should be included in options.
1. Managing exchange rate.
2 open market operations for controlling or expension of currency in the local market.
3 Monetary policy but soon it will be transferred to MPC(Monetary Policy Committee.)
4 Controlling inflation.
5 All cuurency notes except one ruppee note(I am actually not sure about exact denomination) are issued and distributed by RBI.
If Hoarding is done for onion- agricultural end product but it is not scrace resource, hoarder makes it scarce othewise it is/was fully available but it is not scarce resource like spectrum-so option 1 does not qualify as a option and second option seems correct.
