tn = 2 + n(n+1)/2 -1 => tn = 1 + n(n+1)/2

Sn =20 + 20* 21*41/12 + 20*21/4= 20 + 1435 + 105 = 1560 ??

we have to understand that VA is not our strength but i still feel that the right choice of questions changes the whole thing....sometimes i get stuck in LR and get obsessed with the set..sometimes i try to overattempt..i am still trying to figure out my strategy..i do reasonably ok when i attempt single questions of any type but my complete sec 2 mock scores tell a different story altogether...hopefully i'll solve the puzzle

I was just pondering over how to clear the cut, lets say 95%ti. 48-52 marks will suffice for that. Giving the nature of CAT LRs 9/9 is a possible scenario unlike mocks. Now out of 5-6 PJ/PCz if one can get around 4-5 correct it corresponds to 11-14 marks. So at-least 38-40 marks on card. I will prefer attempting 2Rcs as when I am attempting 3Rcs I am screwing my accuracy. Out of 6 attempts even 4 are correct 10 marks once again can be pocketed.
So by this 48-50 marks is looking like a possible score.
I am never sure of SC questions so FIB is my best bet out of the rest.

@anupam001 yr fr me its the frst section which is a prob....its just doesn seems to b working out at all...sometym i use to get panic(esp if I m nt able to do lets say frst 4-5 questn) or sometym bump into a speed breaker questn nd spend a lot f tym on it,nd miss out on easy ones....:(
Somehow thngs r nt the way it shud hv been....I hope i figure out the ryt strategy fr myslf b4 CAT.....

the thing with sec 1 is that mocks are usually a notch higher so you find a lot of speed breakers with less sitters but it all changes in real cat where the questions will be a lot easier with 4-5 speed breakers...i would suggest covering all the basics and try completing all the quant DI sectionals from time.
@anupam001 lets hope tht CAT will get a notch lower in section 1 then our mocks....bt VA is def gng to b higher then mocks (from my exp f CAT 2k11)...wat i alwaz believe is accuracy is the key in this section....its bttr to do 3-4 less questn nd use tht tym to analyze the RCs, PJ, PC to avoid any mistake.....

The discoveries of Darwin, Mendel and others put everything on a new footing. (2) Unfortunately the fact remains that "human mind is insatiable".

Culture is like a map. Just as a map isn't the territory but an abstract representation of a particular area, so also a culture is an abstract description of trends towards uniformity in the words, deeds and artefacts of a human group. If a map is accurate and you can read it, you won't get lost. __________

(1) But culture, on the contrary, provides that essential way of life you will need.
(2) If you know a culture you will know your way around in the life of a society.
(3) Similarly, if you imbibe culture it will help you in finding your way in this abstract world.
(4) Similarly culture will equip you with the ideals necessary to sustain life in the society.
(5) But can the same be said about culture?
