Just to show that the guy has a nice aptitude,people will not question the aptitude skills much if you have a gud enuff cat score.. thats it

Tests like eLitmus are better in my opinion if one wants to enhance her/his CV..........just my opinion

@tatnur In a day or two, the interview calls from IIM's will start pouring in..ATB to everyone for results and PM me for any further doubts.I can literally see myself at this tym 1 year back when desperation to see the results were on the heights..Time has flown by and its yr time people to nail the CAT..I always wanted to be a part of UDT/DT/Regional team but couldnt...Hoping u all will shine with flying colors once the results are out.U will be alloted mentors from IIM's very soon..Do ensure to do as much KT as possible from them..Baaki gyaan results ke baad..

Now, catiim.in has put an official document of 2 pages explaining the whole Scoring, Development and Scaling Process. N they have declared the 225/225/450 system as the standard of CAT. So, now knowing that a score of 297-299 out of 450 last year gave 99 %ile +, how much, actually how much can it change this year ??? Because, I assume if CAT would have followed the same scoring pattern last year, it would have obviously followed the same scoring system and same process of setting the papers (read LOFT - Linear On-Fly Testing Prometric). So, now if I look at my performance, I have 20 + 25 attempts. Best case scenario for me, 18c 2w - 130 (considering +7.5/-2.5), and 20c 5w - 137.5, giving a total consolidated score of 267.5. If I compare to last year, I shdnt even expect anything near to 99. Plz throw some light.

last time 99 started from around 282... besides this loft thing has kinda convinced me that normalisation should not have any effect...
