4yrs work-ex at TCS and doing MBA from Tier2 college on sabbatical? what would be the expected package after joining back?
I have a 25 month work-ex. in TCS, till june 2014. Now i am pursuing 2 year PGPM from IIM Raipur , taking LWP. what would be my refittment package , if i rejoin TCS upon completion of my MBA course !!

Hi All. The question that I am going to ask is bit weird and might sound silly.
What if the project that you work creates problem and pressure you not to take LWP. They cite reasons that they gave me good band, I have lot of dependency on the project, they have made lot of plans using me for next financial year and I should have notified them in prior about my CAT preparation. How to tackle such emotional hassles? Any body went through such weird phase in your project?
I have a work experience of 2.8 yrs. I was on a medical leave for a month. I have exhausted my leave balance. For the past 10 days I m on LWP and I will be joining back by next week. I mailed my hr but she is yet to reply regarding approval. I got release from my project because of medical issues. And my manager had no issues with me getting a release. I had secured 'C' band for the entire 2.8 yrs. Now I am not allocated. In the mean time I applied for MBA in a few colleges with my last year exam scores. Fortunately, I got selected in one of the colleges. Now I am planning to take sabbatical. Does it require manager approval? Because if it does, he wouldn't appreciate it thinking I was actually on medical leave just to get into a college, which is not the actual case. Plus apart from sabbatical, is there any other option to stick to TCS? I like the organization very much and I am surely willing to join back again. Pls guide.

I have recieved the offer letter and I have a little issue that the unit is not mentioned with the desgination.
it says:
"This offer is based on your profile and performance in the selection process. You have been selected for the position of Assistant System Engineer-Trainee in Grade Y. You will be assigned a role in the ( ) Unit, which is subject to change as per the business requirements of TCSL."
Is it normal?
