The present situation just goes to show the lack of accountability on the college's part. It may be the case that they have a lot of constraints and difficulties (no denying that), but whatever the situation, updates can be posted on their website, especially when they r aware that there r so many anxious souls out there. Just a reflection of the callous and non committal attitude of the college and their lack of transparency. I expect a lot of groans for this post but for those who may be miffed by this post, just want to tell them that this is how I and maybe many anxious candidates like me feel.

Well to all the aspirants like me...I think we all are feeling frustrated and angry...regarding obvious issues...
I am also frustrated...but I would say..we should be wise and may be device a james bond plan 
..to overcome this predicament...I think all the lines to the college are closed...so I am wondering if there is any way out....wisdom says there is nothing we can do...may be try a call late in the afternoon and hope to hear a positive thing...dats it....
Yes I too strongly feel updates can be posted on the site..TAPMI has such a lovely site..so why not do it and save our souls..:drinking::drinking:

But this is what is happening in all the colleges.. not just TAPMI.. bad mouthing the college does not solve your problem.
And as for getting mails regarding the DD, it does take some time.. It happened with us. So be calm.

Guys, its pretty easy to find fault with others in a situation like this. Consider this, suppose that the college gives out the result for the next 60 students in PGDM keeping in mind the verbal clearance that it received AICTE for the same. Candidates will immediately give in their resignation from the companies and then, suppose, all of a sudden, AICTE goes back on its word (it can happen in Govt. institutions and you know it!!). Now who will be responsible for the loss that these candidates have to suffer as a result??
College had also made it clear that it will give you a clear picture of the AICTE status by the time they give you the offer letters. So how do you expect the college to come out with the list for other courses when they themselves are waiting for the reply from AICTE??
I completely understand your frustration but instead of just venting out your anger in this forum, please come up with alternatives keeping in mind the interests of everyone out here, including the college. If we find something concrete and feasible, we will pass the same to the admission office.

the problem here is that the college cant be free from any blame....
nobody has seen it from this prespective....
why was tapmi so eager to start the new courses ,it cud have waited another year to get all formalities completed instead of keeping evrything in suspended state forever...
the college cant be exempt from the blame that since it had the infrastructre ready,it would not want to miss out on the rs 21,60,00,000(yes whopping 21 crore ) it would get from 240 new admit...

Another point to ponder about may be the fact that why is Sudeep sir then telling ppl over the phone that 'results will be published at this date within this time'. don't you agree that it is quite misleading and can only contribute to increasing the anxiety?

As far as I know, the waitlist range were told to candidates who had called up the admissions office. Again, yes, waitlist number could have been given. But it was not given even for our batch last year. But I am very sure on how much the waitlist would help given that you dont even know whether the college will start the courses without AICTE approval, etc.
Regarding Sudip Sir giving different dates, etc. There are so many candidates who are calling him. When he replies that he cant give a particular date as to when the results would be out, candidates ask him for his "personal opinion" on the dates. He replies the candidate to call back by June 10th. Now this gets interpreted as "Sudip sir told me that results would be out only by June 10th!!!" and this is posted on Pagalguy. Now whom should you blame for this??
Well let me clarify one thing....we got that the results would be out by THURSDAY....not any personal opinion..it was a straight answer...and I did not ask for any personal opinions...
And when I called on FRIDAY....it was FRIDAY evening or SATURDAY morning...again a straight answer without me pestering for one...
on SATURDAY...its was TODAY EVENING....I clarified again and heard it right.....
so..was all excited...but after sapping all my energy ...went and out with my friend and saw PRINCE OF PERSIA...late evening show...at 7.
BUT yes I got my waitlist range..and was happy with that I must admit..
There can be many perspectives here...but I told what I went through and all the info is true....
I was also pretty frustrated and pissed off...but all thats gone , lost energy even for that.....now just want to have a solution to this...but ..also understand the pros and cons of it...
1) This is the first year of starting the new courses...so its a new process and for a huge batch..so logistics may be tough.
2) AICTE is a govt authority so..things can take time..
so yes its tough...but you know when we feel that excruciating pain of having to go through all this...the pain masks everything....and we just want a way out...thats it period..
Guys.. I had sent the DD and acceptance letter on Thursday. I also sent them scanned copies of the mail through email. But I am yet to receive any acknowledgment. I tried to call admission office, but no response. Today happens to be the deadline for 1L.
Has anyone who cleared waitlist in the last movement received any acknowledgment?
One query to people who have already paid both the installments.
Did you all get the acknowledgment mails before the fee deadline or was it sent later?
