Yup I called sir he said results would be declared in the evening and top 120 plp in waiting list will get a call from BFS or IB. For healthcare Mgmt they are considering their own exms score too so tht result will be out later..hope this helps....

I am coming to bangalore via YPR express and wud reach bangalore at 8.am in the morning. How far is the volvo bus stand and at what time does it leaves for Manipal

Hi Bro,

T place wher ul get down is known as Majestic... around 500 mtrs away ul find t Majestic Bus Stand...so u can walk all t way to the KSRTC Bus stand.... u can also take a ric... min amt is 14 bucks... they'll demand exhorbitant prices but do not budge for nythin more than 20 -25 bucks...if he agrees to use t meter also it wont be more than 20 -25 bucks...

Ask for t KSRTC govt bus stand wich is right opposite to the local bus stand... nybody will guide u ther...
its advisable tat u take t govt volvo bus cuz private buses r slow n they'll sometimes try n dupe u by makin u pay more... not so sure abt t frequency of buses to manipal but if u wait for like say half n hour ul defnitely get a bus... there r enquiry counter available in t bus stand itself so u can enquire abt t availability of t bus n t platform no etc...

While we understand that this has led to a lot of waiting for aspirants but things entirely lie with AICTE hands now, and college doesnt want to declare the results without clarity. Regarding other results for sectoral courses, lets hope they are declared today. All the best for candidates

But as things stand...TAPMI is only waiting for the official document and formalities to be completed...but its certain that 60 more seats will be added....so its only a matter of time before TAPMI gives 60 more calls for general pgdm....also in of the posts someone quoted sudeep sir as saying the date might be after june 10th...

correct me if I am wrong..

A slight correction here. If ur coming on the Yeshwantpur Express, the last stop will be Yeshwantpur, which is a much farther from Majestic. Take an auto to the KSRTC bus stand at Majestic. You can take the KSRTC Volvos to Manipal but those mainly run in the evening. There are however more volvos to Mangalore which is abt 65 km from Manipal. I would also advise against the private buses because they often sell u tickets fr Manipal but drop u off at Udupi which is 6 km away instead.

The results date for the 60 extra PGDM seats could be anything.. even next week... Just waiting for official confirmation from AICTE before the results are declared.... Regarding sectoral courses I believe they have still not got approval from AICTE inspite of the various efforts put by college

i am sorry to say but i doubt there is anything called commitment, the admissions office told me that results will be out +vely by today, but they don't have any respect for their own words.....one must learn to keep his words.....its pathetic on their side to keep on postponding their results.....mismanagement @ management school......

I am not there in the top 120 people in the waitlist for PGDM yet when I called up Sudip Sir a couple of days earlier, he told me that I have a bright chance of conversion in sectoral courses and he hinted towards my being there in the first list. He really made me feel very confident. Now if top 120 people are to get a call then that means that I am not there in the merit list for sectoral courses and that too far behind others because i really have a big waitlist number. How can Sudip Sir say both the things at the same time?

Seniors, can you throw some light please?

I agree completely my friend. It is very dissapointing. If they themselves do not know when results will be published why do they refer to particular dates or say things like 'by today evening or tomorrow'. However harsh it may sound still I am compelled to say that the person at admissions office (not taking the name) seriously needs some chastising. At least dont increase the tecsion if u cannot reduce it.:nono:
