well i think ur position will become clear by monday once the results are out for sectoral courses..
Mine is in perfect accordance as last time he told me my no. was around 146 and then in the last w8list movement of 38 as posted by some puy mine should have moved to 106.
When i enquired about mine yesterday he told mine was in top 110.
u just call once again if u are really worried..
i jus spoke to sir...and he was awesome to talk to...we also shared a few jokes....
however the news is...that the results for the other programs will come out soon...like in a day or two and the ppl on the PGDM waitlist have a good chance to make it to the other programs...
As far as PGDM is concerned...the next list will come out on the 1st or 2nd of June and the waitlist movement in that is expected to be really small...like 8-12 ppl...
regarding the 60 fresh seats, he has no clue when the AICTE will send a formal approval...
as and when they do, the list will be declared!
Its gr8 to knw dat u had a light conversation with Sir.....But Hey most probably they wont declare results on weekends.....So it has to be either today or Monday.....Right??

Funny thing....just called Sudeep Sir.....asked for my waitlist no. He told me that i ranked 270 in the list.....while last time he had told me my waitlist position as 130.....how can this happen!!!!! Need some direction in this regard.
Regarding IB/BFS he told me that the website will be updated by tomorrow morning with results of sectoral courses. The offer letters though will only be dispatched wen the AICTE issue gets sorted out.
Its clear mate...the 270 was your rank in the merit list as per your performace in the gdpi...
there were 120 calls given out intially...so 270 - 120 gives you 150..which has to be your waitlist number.....
did he say anything about your chances for the sectoral courses??
He told me that i have a good chance in sectoral course but very slim chance for PGDM....

i doubt about 270 rank in the original list..beacuse initially 120 calls were given then 80 calls were given in lieu of those who didn't take the offer then 38..after all this if u see ur no. is 130 initially it would hve been more than 360..(120+80+38+130)..there has to be some mistake somewhere......

Did he tell you weather the sectoral courses are starting with or without AICTE approval?
since i will nt be taking up the sectoral course even if i get thru...i didn't really discuss abt it at length with him...so, not in a position to comment.

regarding ur waiting list thing...as someone pointed above...i am sure there is some mistake...don't take things for granted...double check!

Called Sudeep Sir again, he confirmed that my waitlist no. is 270 and not 130. He said he didn't know why told me that my waitlist no. is 130 in the 1st place. Anyways....lets just hope that i get into bfs/ib.....preferably bfs.

Do they end the confirmations to both the DD's separately ?
After how many days did u receive the confirmation of the first DD?

There are certain things i want to say.
First TAPMI has tie ups with HDFC, corporation and syndicate bank,
so why is every one going to sbi. The education loan rate at sbi is around 11.5% whereas in syndicate bank it is 10%.
Second thing is that has anyone confirmed that manipal university is not affiliated with AICTE or its courses are not recognized by AICTE.
Third the companies coming to TAPMI know that the student has studied in TAPMI and hence the degree offered by manipal university will not have any disadvantage.
Finally it is a good possibility that the institute will get all its courses approved by AICTE so guys just wait for that.

i have been going around numerous for Educational loan for my PGDM (Tapmi 2010-12).
@ Syndicate Bank : i spent 3 days talking to the cheif manager(this fello is from Manipal ,knows abt Tapmi better than me):nono::nono::nono: , person dealing with educational loan disbursement...they are not ready to give me a loan bcos
i am a new customer to them:-(:-( ..i'm quoting mangers exact word's "the loan doesnt depend on College but on the person",
they want me to take it from SBI itself where my dad has his salary account.
.Their demands are :
i)my dad has to open a new account @ syndicate and use it for his salary account,they ll monitor it for 2 or 3 months then take a decison on whether to give me a loan or not.
ii)Need a 3rd party guarantor who has an syndicate account(old customer)..they will not accept even ambani's guarantee if he doesn't have a syndicate account
iii) Collateral(land document or House document) for amount if i'm taking more than 4 laks ...
@SBI :
i)ready to give loan even till 1 crore if i'm able to provide Security or Collateral for it...Bottom line if i want a loan above 4 laks they need Collateral(land document or House document) for it
@HDFC :
they pestered me with phone calls for a week abt educational loan...but the phone calls stopped after i told my dad's salary (around 16k per month)

It will very very very helpful if u can guide us on how to get a educational loan...criteria...Max loan granted without security..Does it depend on parent's salary,the bank he draws salary at ..etc..
Please dont post Hearsay ..pls post facts or ur Successful experience as it will avoid confusion...

I received my confirmation mail today..
regarding ur ques:-
1. You wil receive your confirmation through email only and that too from Jyothi madam.
2. Yes, they will mail you two times, first email will be for your 1st DD i.e. Rs.1lac and second will be for your 2nd DD i.e. Rs.2.10lac
3. In my case, I called them the day after the last date and also mailed them asking for confirmation. Within 3hrs, I got my confirmation email.
But few puys received their confirmation mails even before the last date.
Converted WElingkar 1st merit list today and IMT-D,IIT-C,IRMA already left, wait list in all these colleges moves by one because of Tapmi convert.TAPMI you are helping aspirants of other colleges more than aspirants of you.when will our fellow aspirants be relived from this bloody results tension 
.So that some other poor souls in wait list of some college will be relived from tension

I sent my 1st dd & annexure on t 15th.. got confirmation on t 21st wich was t deadline day via mail from Ms. Jyothi...
then i sent t 2nd draft on t 25th... deadline day was 27th... I got t confirmation today... ie 28th... frm Ms. Jyothi again...
if u hav sent them a scanned copy of ur dd both the times or if u hav atleast mailed them before hand abt ur availability to t program u must get a mail confirmation...
n if uv sent them both installments separately then u should get 2 mail confirmations...
