It has been quite a wait this year. And I don't see much hope of the AICTE approval coming any time soon. I guess i have to take up a decision on weather to w8 more or take up a job again. Seems like CAT'10 or Cat'11 for me (not sure will be givin it this year). No Regrets. I live to fight the battle another day.

dinsuba SaysThere is no special rates for Tapmi in corporation bank. If you are ready to pay SI during the moratorium period i.e. 2 yrs of study period, then they will reduce the interest rate by 1%. This is common to all banks and all colleges. Other than this there are no special discounts. I have given my loan application in corporation and am most likely to get my loan there. So these were the terms I agreed to.

2> Map to reach TAPMI new campus
3> Hotels nearby
In the 1st doc it is mentioned that
Apart from your personal belongings, footwear and clothes, you may bring along the following articles when you come to join here.
1> Pillow with covers
2> Bed-sheets
3> Blanket-medium thickness
4> Toiletries
5> Umbrella/Raincoat
6> Lock
7> Plastic bucket
8> Plastic mug
9> Flashlight Torch
Dont know how can they expect us to bring the bold items. We have to arrange these items after we reach there. Seems like we would be welcomed in totally empty rooms. I would miss my house 
Also regarding the dress code:
As regards dress code, please be informed that you need to be smartly dressed at all times when you are outside your hostel premises. In classrooms, you need to wear formal western clothes (trousers with full or half shirt) with formal shoes. Ladies have additional option of wearing Salwar Kameez/Sari. For special occasions like Induction programme/MIP/Placement interview ladies need to have formal sarees/a pair of suit while gentlemen need to have at least a pair of Suit with tie.
Seems like I wont miss my office too much

Brother... no hostel provides us with all this stuff. Plus you can get all the items mentioned in a store there within the campus itself.Also there are a lot of shops in Manipal(Tiger Circle).
The rooms are adequate , so no need to worry about them!!

No confirmed news on any movements or updates today. I expect atleast one more WL movement in the initail 120 seats since last movement was around 18 seats.

I have availed a loan of 7.0 Lacs from Syndicate Bank at 10% Floating interest rate without any collateral security.. I did require a third party guarantor apart from the co-applicant... After the interest rebate benefit of 1% .. it comes to 9%.... This is the cheapest possible interest rate available in the market without any collaterals.....
