Good morning everyone (except those who post political sh*t). Had an opportunity to meet one of my seniors who's an SDM from 2018 batch. He said he couldn't be happier with his life. He said this is the best time to work as a civil servant with all the changes being brought in and in the one year he's been on the job he's yet to be forced to do something against his will and contrary to popular belief, the politicians mostly stay out of the way. He's posted in a place where the municipal corporation has been dissolved and fresh elections are yet to take place so he's serving as the ex-officio mayor and enjoying all the executive powers of an elected representative. Was fantastic to listen to him and know how things are actually working on ground. Although I'm happy in my current job but always wanted to prepare for civil services. I now feel instead of wasting a couple of years in SSC I'd rather invest that time in preparing for civil services. I'll also suggest you guys who have secured a job or have good marks in CCL18/19 to give a shot at UPSC/State PSCs because nothing beats the work profile of civil servants. Good day!

Not a political post My friend was working in one of Pvt Bank in rural area he left the job because he said the bank exploits the people there as most of them are not well educated and aware about system or policy and bank doesn't share all details with them and most of them are not literate so can't read the document and signed them and they get into trap very specially in case of loan and bank employee also have targets so they lost their humanity and just work to complete target. My question is this we should only think about govt fund or we should also see this side as well.
