In the letter writing part , is it better to get to the point quickly or should be we build it up before coming to the main point ? For Example, in last year's exam we were supposed to write a letter to cousin explaining him about ssc cgl examination. Shoould we directly talk about the exam in the letter or should i enquire about his health, studies etc before jumping to the subject ? (given that the letter is written to cousin)
