UBI is the provision of minimum financial assistance by goverment to each and every adult regardless of its social and economical stratum. Indeed , it is just another version of giving subsidy in new and updated version by replacing the all incumbent subsidies. UBI is becoming the growing buzz in developing as well as developed nations with mixed response.
As UBI promises minimum basic income to every individual , it will certainly prove blessing to socially and economically weaker section of society. Also , it will promote social justice , more autonomy of individual on spending , improve health and education and minimize gender inequality.Morever , it substitutes the previous subsidy schemes riddled with misallocations, leakages and exclusion of poor. At macro level , it will increase people's purchasing power hence leads to more consumption and economic growth.
At the same time , it is criticized by reputed economist and analysts on the ground that it would reduce motivation for work , increase financial burden on exchequer and could bring inflation as no real work done with respect to financial assistance.But it is to remind that empty stomach incentivize crimes and UBI gives peoply only to do with their basic needs. In fact , people will motivate to improve their status when their basic needs get fulfilled.
All other drawbacks can be checked through proper implentation and coordinated work of all stakeholders of this scheme. This is the right time when we have to take advantage of our recently formed digital and banking infrastructure JAM(jandhan-aadhar-mobile) . UBI is clearly the need of the time. The anvil is hot and all we want is to make a hard hit.

Is it a good idea to write only positive points about jhan dhan yojana and conclude positively? After describing this scheme and writting its main salient features I dont have enough words left to describe its shortcomings

416.75 (t2+aao) gen category. Any chances of clearing tier 2 cut off in case we have separate cut off for t2 ??
At present our citizens, especially those belonging to the poor and unprivileged sections, go through cumbersome procedures of Government recruitment. There are multiplicity of agencies and examinations. We propose to introduce a system of single registration and two tier system of examination.
