Essay. ....................................................................'Universal basic income'- A dole or a right................................................................... "My ahimsa would not tolerate the idea of giving a free meal to a healthy person who has not worked for it in some honest ways" -Mahatma Gandhi............................................ ....................AltHough Gandhiji was against giving free doles, the idea of a universal basic income has created buzz in india.UBI is a universal and unconditional cash income required for meeting minimum necessities, to be given to every citizen. Some countries like Finland has already introduced it while others like india is contemplating its efficacy........................................................ Critics argue that a free transfer of money unconditionally would make people lazy and crashing of their self respect, destabilize labour market, lead to misutilization of funds(males using it for alcoholism),and on top of all,is a fiscal disaster. The arguments carry substance ,but given the benefits of the move, even Gandhiji would have been forced to rethink.......................... ..........................................An assured source of income would reduce povert and inequality, improve health and education outcomes, ensure social justice, reduce fiscal leakages nd targetting headaches.and is administratively easier to implement. 'Work is worship'-A bare minimum income could not demotivate an individual to work for better living standards.Rich already earns money without work in the form of inheritance and market volatility.UBI has the potential to make india an egalitarian society, as envisaged by our founding fathers but it also carries some risks. What is required is a committed politcal and administrative establishment to decide on this.

Essay on Demenetisation -- (Rate out of 50)

Demonetization is a scheme in which 86% of the legal tender in circulation was deemed illegal. This consisted of 500 and 1000 rupee notes. It caused panic as everyone was trying to assess its implications.

Post 2 months of the scheme, we are now in a position to analyse its effects. The biggest gain from this scheme is that it has kick started India’s move towards a cashless economy. We are a country where 12.5% of the transactions are done in cash, compared to 3% in the US. Cash transactions provide scope for graft, tax evasion and hence generation of black money.

India is primarily a young democracy. By 2020, the average age in India is expected to be around 29, compared to 47 for Japan and 40 for US/China. Therefore considering this, the push for Digital Economy seems to be master stroke from the Government. It is leveraging JAM trinity to achieve this. JAM stands for Jan Dhan Acounts, Aadhar enabled transactions and Mobile connectivity. The youth of this country is expected to embrace the change while older generation, although reluctant should be convinced to shift towards a digital economy.

Demonetization is a bold move on the part of the government of India. The Government needs to provide adequate infrastructure, cyber security, cyber auditors etc to promote confidence in digital transactions. The government is also providing incentives in a bid to on board everyone on the digital bandwagon. As citizens of India , we should support it whole heartedly if we are to achieve our dream of being a developed nation.

Puys Please suggest on how to improve. TIA

Guys looking at the possibility of separate cutoff in tier 2, do you think 375 (125t1 + 250t2) is sufficient to qualify tier 3(sc category)

ESSAY ON DEMONETISATION - REVIEWS PLEASE. WORD COUNT is 333 here.any suggestion for improvement as well as reducing word count ?

bhai please apna reviews batayiye

As the proverb goes "When something evil has to be destroyed, then war has to begin", the Indian Government seems to have taken this proverb as an inspiration to implement demonetisation.Demonetisation, which refers to the act of stripping the status of a currency unit as a legal tender, was announced by the Indian Government on November 8th,2016 to demonetise the 500 and 1000 rupee notesand introduce a new series of 500 and 2000 rupee notes. This was not the first time that the government has taken such a decision. It was implemented in 1946 and 1978 as well.

The reason for the implemetation of this decision was to tackle the use of couterfeit notes to fund terrorist activities, bring back the black present money present in the form of cash because the 500 and 1000 rupee notes present ,according to RBI,as of October 2016, were 86% of the total money present in the economy. So this clearly suggests a parallel economy.Although the implementation implementation seems to be haphazard one, but it is a planned decision with teo steps taken priorly 1) introduction of jan dhan yojana to make more and more people open bank accounts with even nil balance and 2) income declaration scheme, asking the people holding the black money to come forward and declare their illegal assets.

The advantages of this demonetisation include stopping counterfeit of currency, human traffciking and thereby using the money which came back into the economy for development purposes. Like every action has an opposite reaction, this decision also has some disadvantages - with introduction of 2000 rupee note it becomes much more easier to stash money and entire black money cannot be eradicated as it is present in cash as 6% only.

However the plans like mudra, digital india and apps like Bhim launched by the government and removing service tax on digital transactions ,thereby promoting e-banking to all corners of India, made this decision look great and providing India the perfect start to head towards a less-cash economy.
