I have calculated this after analysing last year tier 2 marks of top 20000 candidates and this year tier 1 marks. I have assumed that this time also tier 2 marks spectrum will be same as last year tier 2 marks spectrum( where as difficulty level increased a bit, we also got some extra time because of online mode, eventually neutralising each other.) This is not guess work at all. Proper calculations and statistical analysis have been done.

This is not accurate and everybody knows it but broadly 2016 marks (tier1+tier2) spectrum will be like this.

(508-510)+     around       100 people

(501-503)+     around       250 people

(492-494)+     around       500 people

(487-489)+     around       750 people

(483-485)+     around     1000 people

(477-479)+     around     1500 people

(472-474)+     around     2000 people

(467-469)+     around     3000 people

(462-464)+     around     4000 people

(457-459)+     around     5000 people

(453-455)+     around     6000 people

(449-451)+     around     7000 people

(446-448)+     around     8000 people

(443-445)+     around     9000 people

(440-442)+     around    10000 people

(435-437)+     around    12500 people

(430-432)+     around    15000 people

(425-427)+     around    17500 people

(420-422)+     around    20000 people.

So, according to it, cut off prediction (considering 50-55% people are above UR/general cutoff.)--

If intake is around 40000   -   (419-421)

If intake is around 35000   -   (424-426)

If intake is around 30000   -   (429-431)

If intake is around 25000   -   (434-436)

And according to me in any case intake for tier 3 will not be less than ~25000.

ESSAY ON - CAN INDIA BECOME A CASHLESS SOCIETY.

PLZZ REVIEW IT OUT OF 50

A cashless economy is a kind of financial system where all transactions are carried out using cards or digital means. It is imperative that for a cashless society , a country should have required digital infrasructure and digital literacy available to all its stakeholders. India currently has 12.5% cash to GDP ratio which is one of the highest among all developing economy. The present condition is far cry from cashless economy as only 5% transaction is digital in our country , however the roadmap designed by government to acheive this aim seems very promising and practicle.

The first step of governent was the rolling down of digital india programme , an umbrella body of different scheme like jandhan yojana , DBT ,  MUDRA  bank yojana and other subschemes to make people in touch with banking system and get used to digital transaction. The second step was to broaden the digital infrastructure by providing license to payment banks , post offices and small finance banks . And at last to utilise all these , it create financial literacy among masses and institutions by promotional activities like digidhan mela , rolling down of 2L digital seva kendra , disbursal of prizes for cashless transaction and launching their own digital apps like BHIM.

Though all these measures are taken in very right direction , the problems of inadequate digital infrastructure , financial illeteracy , cyber fraud , financial untouchability and a large part of unbanked population still persist. Moreover , people having credit and debit card are still apprehensive of casdhless transaction. However a proper coordination among all operating institutions and right implementation of all these schemes could solve our purpose.

The benefit of cashless society are multifarious like it would reduce ta avoidance , curb black money , reduce operational cost of physical transaction , deter fake currency and ultimately bring transparency in the economy. As economy becomes more transparent , the society will also get refined from unscruplous elements.

Essay on demonetization "The beginning is the most important part of a work"-Plato.Indeed a beginning has been done to curb the menace of parallel economy plaguing India's fiscal health on 8th November 2016,when the PM of india announced to demonetise ₹500 and ₹1000 notes.......................................... Demonetization is the act of stripping a currency unit of its status as a legal tender. It is hailed by the govt and some economists as a surgical strike on counterfeit currency racket(used for terror financing),Black money in cash form and as a dent on hawala business. But on top of all,it is also seen as an oppotunity to promote digital transactions in the economy................................... Terrorism has seen a lull in the valley ,Black cash hoarders have lost huge amount of money and digital transaction has seen a phenomenal growth in last few weeks after demonetisation. But several issues and problems persists. Cash crunch has not reduced to a comfortable level, leading to economic slowdown. The hardest hit has been the poor.in rural areas where poor banking infra has only exacerbated their problems..................................................... Black cash form a tiny part of black money, which mostly consists of real estate and money in foreign accounts. Some economists have questioned the economy of the move, arguing that its costs are much higher than its benefits and even terming the exercise as'Shooting an ant with a gun.......................................................... Whatever the sceptics say,but a bold start has been made and one must analyse the long term effects of the move before passing the verdict.Till then as a responsible citizenry, we must come forward and support the govt in making the initiative a hot pursuit against black money.

Now that everyone has been on their toes for T3, its perhaps time!

#All sorts of comments invited.

Topic- Demonetization

"Every journey towards a goal begins with a step only". Of all the steps to make India emerge as a stronger country, one has left a profound impact on everyone, Demonetisation. Apparently, an epitome of boldness and risk, Demonetization scheme has drawn immense criticism as well as support.

Walking their talks, the incumbent govt. has taken a huge step , backed by our nation's central bank, in tearing down the 'Parallel Economy'. Although, it has rendered inconvenience to everyone by sapping out almost 86% of the cash in circulation but, the plight to public seems to be ephemeral. On the other hand, has deliberately instigated a feeling of restlessness to the ones infesting our economy.

Expectedly, this drive has also invited plethora of critiques. While some are baseless criticisms, others force us not to ignore the consequential side of it, be it massive retreat of unorganised sector workers back to their villages, or speculations in share market affecting the portfolio investments in India, or the plunging value of Rupee against Dollar. Maybe, the only way left for our govt. to make it up to the losses is by opening up various welfare projects and increasing the scope of priority sector lending by slashing the loan rates and increasing the credit limits as well. This is the least that could be done to provide cover to the section most vulnerable and prone to any change in the economy.

Although the dream to become a cashless economy could not be achieved overnight, but with proper layout of schemes and plans it could become achievable unhindered. Needless to say, with the consolidated support of its citizens every positive intention can strengthen the roots of a nation.

Can anyone guess why SSC is taking one additional month to publish the result of CGL after the answer keys?

Result friday tak aa jayega
