But the mail by a tax inspector to me suggests that zone allocation around july 1st.I called cbdt DGHRD few days back, he informed me "sandeepji zone allocation do mahina ke andar ho jayegi".It also means not possible before july.
In case of joining it is right due to zone to zone variation it may be earlier in some cases.
How could you tell that zone allocation will be in june?Do you have any credible information in this regard?

They fed manually preferences of all candidates in the system.There r 846+483 candidates whose pref they will enter in the system.Then they will feed the pref of those candidates whose option form not recvd according to state pref has been taken at the time of interview. There r certain issue in allocation that reserve category candidates qualified in general standard wi alloted first and then other candidates.They will also manually check pref entered in the system n zone alloted 4 candidates.There r 5 working days in office so this process will take around 1 month. For serious people this task is not more than 15 days but this is working nature of govt. offices bcoz they don't to improve work efficiency kyunki unhe future me bhi zone allot karne hain aur agar unhone 1 baar jaldi zone allot kar diya to un par next time b isko maintain karne ka pressure hoga.
friends, i m not working and it's too difficult for me waiting for this zone allocation...4 mahine ho gaye hain abhi na jaane kitna waqt lagega.. kuchh bhi ho... they should give an exact date when zone would be allocated...be it after 2 days or 2 months...simply telling after 2 months is too diplomatic and does not serve any purpose.....
