I m selected for bitm pgdm (telecom and marketing) but i want to go for HR plz tell me what should i do.Is it worth to join it.

I need a confirmed info about IT and Marketing....if i would be takin marketin then wht are the chances that i change to HR in BIMM..am already in BIMM so specialisation changes can be done or not?..i would appreciate info but not opinion..please let me knw the source of info if not joined SBS yet..thanks a lot in advance..

it will be primarily marketing...and not IT as you are thinking...
If u want IT...Check sum other college wich offer IT....or see if SYSTEMS SPECIALIZATION SATISFY UR CRITERIA OF I.T ...
And again...HR...ab Yeh HR is compeltely different from ur earlier interest in I.T....But
yes you can change it...but i dunno how exactly...they conduct test internally for a few specializations....But if i were you,,,,ooops.. u dont like opinions...

dat y d heck ur society comes to know abt d financial constraint to increase fees by Rs. 1 lac every year in just 1 month....
last yr too dey showed d increment of dis fees on d day of result....
hey seniors in case u dnt have d answer...giv my regards to bala sir,,,n ask him dis question......... coz dere might b many like me whu have arranged for d fee money... n at d moment of d result...we come to knoe we have to arrange 1 lav extra.... is dat a fair n ethical managment move from a B. I am just telling what he told me, am not adding anything from my side.
The reason for the fee hike is more number of permanent faculties employed.Also if you compare the fee with any other college in the league it is far less.
I personaly dont think it was a good decision but then I cant do any thing about it. !
But one thing I would like to tell all of you, we never felt that our money is being misused here. So many faculites come and charge big amounts !!
Lots of guest lectures are being held... they all need to be paid . Even you will never regret paying this fees ! Trust me !! You will get the returns !!

u know wat i like abt dis society is he bala sir spend money... i have never felt dis person is just storing dis money... n we aspirants very well know d fees of different colleges... bt d thing dat hurts students is d way he attacked us instantly...dat cn also lead to loss of respect in some student's eyes....

bt plz convey my mesage to BALA sir.. 1 such more move next time... he's spoiling d brand image for which every1 fights too... i feel dat person like likes feedback...so provide my my feedback...

Come on Yar seniors can a do a lot in this regard they can let them (SBS Management) know that such decisions should be made much before the gd pi process starts (before selling the forms) so that aspirants can know well in advance about the money that their family have to arrange.
Such things are expected from a good b school.........anyways I hope such things will not happen in future

Hey guys I got selected in BITM(Telecom) as I am a ECE engineer. I want to know whether u can change ur specialization to Telecom & Marketing or Marketing and Finance within BITM. does he mean to say dat d total xpenditure on permanent n visiting faculties vl b rs. 10 crores...evn if othr xpnses r included vd permanent n visiting faculties charges dn oso how cud it reach dat amount dude
n plz do nam a few coleges vch r in d sam league as balaji yt der fee z higher

I am in Dilemma!
I wanted advice form expert puys in this regard but suggestions from other are most welcome!
I got selected in MBA in HR in Amity and HR prog in BIMHRD (although i wanted HR prog in BIMM)
previously i chucked Amity because of the ROI issue 8.5L fee + 3-3.5L of hostel and expenses, placements issue and teaching also not par... the only advantage abt Amity is Branding and location(am from Gurgaon).
Now BIMM has a hike in fee making it 6L + hostel & expenses. Branding is an issue for this college(I was surprised to see that the college is not in the rankings maan!)I know that in terms of teaching and faculty its a good college but i am also concerned about its placements.
Now i am going for the MS Ramaiah GDPI also. plz guys suggest me what i sud do!

It is a Service industry but not a Non-profit organisation !!:D

I know this has upset many of you all, even I dont think its wise decision but its management's decision after all !!
