kshitijsharma Sir with due respect i am not here to prove anybody wrong or question the process of any university.......I am just saying that many top B-Schools are doing it . AFAIK no institute wants to play with aspirant's career....... Its just a suggestion which can be think of in my opinion.......:) and with a growing institute like SIBM-B I feel that it is important to be innovative in its process.......its just my personnel opinion..........
@kshitijsharma Oops, I missed out on the wise ladies. I haven't as yet achieved anything big, and I have only inspired people to become the next "Indian Idle".:D But anyway, the catching up part sounds good.

And I totally respect it. But I request you to give us that much by shelving that thought under initial teething problems. I sincerely hope for the sake of everybody that the process gets more streamlined in the future.
@kshitijsharma said:Whoa, Whoa. My post was in no way meant to antagonise you nor come out all praises for the entire process. I know there are certain gaps in the process which could be addressed but rest assured, Nikhil would do all in his power to get you the results by tomorrow. After all, it wasnt for nothing he was voted the best Student Coordinator of SIBM-B
Oh man...that power is lost now...though I will try to make do with a smile 😃
Bye for now guys, forgot that we have our exams daily this whole week!

@NoMoreMrNiceGuy @kshitijsharma : I'd love to catch up with you guys as well, if I get the chance.
And @NoMoreMrNiceGuy, accomplishments can't be restricted to a limited set of pre-set scenarios most of are desperately trying to fit ourselves in. We alone, as sole individuals, define this term as per our values and goals.
If you have an impeccable clarity when it comes to your core principles and have an incessant desire to fulfil your dreams, I would call than an accomplishment, especially in a world where people are suffering from juvenile pangs of adolescence at a ripe age of 40.
I know oodles of people who're stuck in dead end jobs and have grown used to living in the 'transition' they had once promised they would break free from. (Remember Chandler from 'FRIENDS'?
)
If I had to choose between a corporate sell-out who had once dreamt of starting an NGO but decided to go against his core values to seek 'accomplishment' and a Young man who ditched college to start his own business because that coincided with his belief system- I'd say that the latter has actually accomplished something in life.
Accomplishment can be a fat pay-check, a group of friends who'd stand by you through thick and thin, harbouring a dream you want to materialize in the future, snuggling in bed with your child and reading a bedtime story, buying your dream-house. That's the best part- it can be anything you want it to be.
Too many people sell themselves short in the pretext being humble. Define the word 'accomplishment' as you deem fit and flaunt it! People call it conceit, I call it self-belief.

Word!
@AintSaint In that case, I would like to tell you that people often tell me that I have the most obscure passions and interests. I have never listened to any of them. I continue to find my peace as I pursue these interests everyday. As of now, I have no idea about what I am going to do in the coming years. For some odd reason, the thought of not having a planned future does not bother me in the least. I shall go wherever the wind takes me. And I will eventually, accomplish all things that I consider worthy enough to be called "accomplishments".
@NoMoreMrNiceGuy
Good for you!
At the end of the day, the only person we're answerable to is ourselves.
And I too, have been called obscure.
But then again, the words 'obscure' and 'weird' are pretty relative. Some girls like shopping for clothes, I'd much rather browse through a book-store. I get baffled at the sight of girls having relentless chats about the latest nail-paint and I'm pretty sure that they get just as baffled by my lack of interest in the same. And it makes neither of us obscure. It merely means that we're two different people who have different interests.
And most of the time, the un-obscure (which isn't a word. But should be one!
) people are just indulging in blind people-pleasing that would never lead to anything that's even remotely constructive. You can never please everyone around you because at the end of the day, no matter what Oxford says, we all have our own definition of 'normal'.
The way I see it, our natural state is complete, utter craziness!
All the best! May you accomplish your craziest (pun intended) dreams!
P.S I have a vague feeling in the pit of my stomach that I should be talking solely about SIBM-B on this forum. No more posts pertaining to 'idle chit chat'!

Is that the college magazine?
And yes, I absolutely love writing! I guess it's pretty evident by my long winded replies.
